There is no dining in presently with COVID restrictions and a mask must be worn into the store. Cash only. Closed Monday. Open Sunday 7AM – 1PM; T-F 7AM – 5:30PM;Sat. 7AM – 5PM.

It was clean but considering they say they have the best homemade canollis they were not that good. We were disappointed. It tasted like They mixed the good filling with whipped cream or something to stretch the filling.

I have been going to this Bakery for the better part of 15 years. I moved out of state and to this day every time I come home for the holidays I make it a point to order the Rum cake. It is hands down the best Rum cake I have ever had. The pastries are always phenomenal and the place is so nostalgic. It still is pretty vintage looking inside and has never changed and never needs to. Reminds me of my childhood. It has always been the same sweet woman behind the counter all this time and I think her husband works in the back. I love this place so much and it feels like home to me. It’s one thing in our town that has remained the same. I hope you all know how much this town appreciates you guys. My other favorites from here are the cookies. The breads filled with jam. Cannolis, Neapolitan & the Bavarian creme filled cake with coconut on top.

This place will continue to be cherished by the great people of the City of Torrington, especially the Italian American community. Everything is delicious and it’s hard to leave just buying one thing.

My favorite Bakery.
Best Cannolis. Lombardi’s always made my children’s birthday cake… marble cake with custard filling and whipped cream frosting. They did our Wedding cake and now we get our pizza doughs there too. I highly recommend this Bakery

Lombardi’s has been my family’s bakery for over 25 years! The owners are two of the kindest people we know, and offer several choices of authentic Italian baked goods; they also bake their own sugar-free cookies, which are a family favorite! After seven years, my husband and I continue to receive compliments about how delicious our lemon/raspberry wedding cake was! Don’t miss out on what this wonderful bakery has to offer!

Being an Italian New Yorker, it was hard for me to give Lombardi’s 4 stars because they really don’t have a lot of the Italian pastries that I’m use to getting in New York, but the prices are just as high as New York though. With that said, I did give them 4 stars because they’re the only Italian bakery in town and they are friendly. They will make you specific items that they don’t have on display with advanced notice which is nice. As far as taste goes…. the cookies, cakes, and pies that I’ve tried from them have been good, but not great, simply because I’ve had the best of the best throughout the years being in the culinary world my entire life. Everyone’s taste buds are different, opinions will vary. I just felt that the freshness and quality of the ingredients weren’t always the best. I’d definitely recommend Lombardi’s though if you’re looking for homestyle baked goods in Torrington. The only other decent option in town, in my opinion, would be the Big Y bakery.
