Probably one of the worst experiences we have ever had at the Outer Banks. I would give negative stars if i could. Hair was in food, when we sent it back the reused the food that was in the original dish and overcooked the scallops. asked if they would compensate and said they would just comp the scallops. It took over 2.5 hours to get seated….. sucks because there are limited dining options in Duck, NC on Saturday night. hostess when asked again about the table being ready she said, “I’m too busy”. Save your money………stay away. too much money for bad food. Service was great. hate it for the server…had to put one star for that’s what this place deserves.

On a recent trip to Duck, NC, we ate at Fishbones. Both my husband and I ordered the tuna. It was so tender and delicious. Our server was also exceptional. She gave our grandkids some paper and crayons and after they completed their drawings, she posted them on her counter. So thoughtful!!!
We will definitely return on our next visit.

The STAFF makes this place amazing. The food was top notch but the wait was longg. They don’t take reservations, so it’s first come first serve. A few of us went first, put our name on the list and the second half of our party came a little later. Just make sure your entire party is there when you’re about to be seated. The wings were delicious and the flounder scallops and shrimp were cooked perfect.

A casual place located on the second level of a shopping area. We stopped in for a quick lunch upon arriving in Duck for our week getaway. The service was fine – as was the food. The grilled shrimp on Caesar and blackened Mahi sandwich with pasta salad. My daughter and son in law really liked this place – they went back 4 times!

The crab dip was ok but wouldn’t order it again. The kids liked their meals of Mac and cheese and pasta with marinara. The shrimp salad (can’t recall the menu name) was good. My husband had the oysters and shrimp. The shrimp were a good size. The oysters were on the smaller side of oysters he has had but they were good tasting. Service was good and they were kind.

Was excited to try this place based on “good” reviews. Ordered takeout. Confusion at pickup but order was mostly correct. Basically, 1-2 people from our group of 6 were satisfied with their meal.
1. Cheesesteak egg rolls- good but not worth $15
2. Hatteras burger- it was decent. Asked for well done and it was cooked medium at best.
3. Angus burger- no complaints, it was good
4. Chicken Ceasar salad- very disappointing. Very small, like side salad sized. Lettuce included was brown. Dressing containers only half full.
5. Ceasar salad with crabcake- very disappointing. Crabcake was definately a pre packaged frozen crabcake, mostly filling, barely any crab. Also same complaints as other salad, plus stale croutons.
6. Truffle fries were fine.
7. Tuna bowl- decent but looks like it was thrown in the box sloppily.

Mostly experience on Sunday. It wasn’t busy at all. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Looks simple but cute. We were greeted and seated promptly. Food tasted good. The only negative is their tap water had a terrible taste to it and they didn’t have any bottled water. Overall good experience.

It was fairly crowded, we ate at the bar. The bartender was very nice and a good server. Food was fine, just fad appetizers. The shrimp was seasoned well, the wings were huge. I think I liked the cheesesteak egg rolls the best

Nice place for quick lunch. Cool beach vibe. Nice decor and bar. Service friendly, seemed a bit confused, assuming new staff members. Food was good, hot, arrived pretty quickly. Moderate pricing.

What’s sad is if the owners cared even 25% more this would be an amazing spot. The food was an embarrassment lacking both care, attention, or seasoning .. I mean even our crab cake was frozen in the middle. It’s clear nobody here cares about what they are serving. Sad. (Server was very nice)
