Always call first before you go as the hours and the menu constantly changes due to staffing issues. They are updating their Facebook page more than in the past so that helps. They sometimes switch to Burgers only menu if they are slammed earlier in the day SoBe flexible. Love the walleye sandwich, the beef sandwich, and the patty melt. Great atmosphere on the deck or inside. Love to be on the deck all the time but sometimes the sun is just too much especially if there is no wind.

HOURS CHANGE: Kitchen does not open until 5:30pm on Tuesdays. Google does not give the option to suggest hours change for the kitchen hours. Not sure if this change is temporary, as my understanding is that it’s been in effect for awhile.
Food and service were both great. Beware that if you go on Tuesday they will only have two options available on their menu:
Spaghetti w/meat sauce which comes with a salad and bread stick.
Ribs which comes with a side of cheddar mashed potatoes and a salad.

Good food, nice outdoor atmosphere, sitting on picnic tables on the deck, overlooking the lake on a beautiful day! Great service too! Will definitely be back!

Good burgers. Limited menu. Service was very slow (one waitress), we waited 20 min for our check and there was only one other couple there. Not really impressed. And no dogs allowed. Not even on the property.

Cool spot for a beer or quick bite. Pleasant wolf bay, good prices, pretty patio, and nook bar. Definitely worth a stop!

No menu options to choose from. The patty melt was NOT a patty melt. They said on weekends they go with their small menu. We had 4 to 5 burgers to choose from, or a Caesar salad or garden salad. My “patty”melt with salad instead of fries on my plate was $19.00. I wouldn’t complain if the patty was actually good!
On the plus side, the waitress was AMAZING and so was the dock boy!

2 stars because the boat boy was working super hard and helpful. Pretty lame after that. Beautiful Friday evening in late July. Waitress served us a couple drinks leaving us both wondering if there was any booze in with the mix. After that proceeded to tell us that the cook was too busy to make any more dinners. This was at 5:30pm on a Friday night. There were a few people inside and 5 tables outside. Boats kept rolling up as we left to find out the same fate. We headed to The Landing and got a great dinner and great drinks. Ran into another group who told us they had the same experience and left the Wolf for the Landing. Pretty incompetent management. Hard to believe you can pay a boat boy and 3 waitresses and don’t have a way to make dinner? Lame.

Wolf Bay Lodge was an amazing place to take a break from a day on the water. We arrived before they opened for the day and the owner was nice enough to open about 45 min early. Drinks were great and had a lot of fun talking to the bar tender and checking out all the dollar bills posted on the ceiling.
I highly recommend visiting Wolf Bay Lodge the next time you are looking for a place on lake vermillion.
