The meal started with the Crab Wonton, Pot Stickers, and Egg Rolls. All executed cleanly and confidently. Crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside, and well-balanced without being greasy. These are solid crowd-pleasers done right.
Where R Harn Thai really shines is in their entrées. The Duck Confit Curry stood out immediately, it was rich and deeply flavorful, with tender duck that carried the curry beautifully. The Massaman Beef Curry and Panang Curry with Beef were equally impressive, offering bold spice profiles, depth, and that comforting warmth i expect from classic Thai curries.
The Crispy Garlic Chicken delivered exactly what the name promises, crispy, savory, and addictive, while the Kra Prao with minced pork and white rice was a standout for authenticity. It’s simple and the kind of dish I would keep going back to. The Thai Fried Rice rounded out the meal nicely, well-seasoned and satisfying without being heavy.
Overall, R Harn Thai feels like a restaurant that already knows who it is. Strong flavors, generous portions, and a welcoming space make it a great option whether you’re grabbing dinner before an event, bringing the whole family, or hosting a large gathering. For a restaurant that’s only been open a week, this is an incredibly confident start and definitely one worth checking out if you’re in Everett.
