Featuring an array of global flavors and decadent desserts by Chef Deb Paquette, Executive Chef Jess Lambert, and Pastry Chef Megan Williams, etch opened its doors to its original location in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville. Our newest location in The Factory at Franklin opened in fall 2024 and houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, an outdoor patio, and a chef’s bar with a view into the open kitchen. Lunch and dinner are available Tuesday-Sunday, plus weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

If you need some girl time to just giggle and laugh and take your time eating and shopping, Etch and the Factory at Franklin is that and more. For appetizers, we had their Bread and Butter, Pork Belly, and Seasonal favorite. For our entrees we ordered the Filet Mignon and Shrimp and Chorizo Pierogis (Dumplings). And for dessert, we ordered the Almond Pavlova. Everything from atmosphere to service with Gloria and overall food experience was exceptional and perfect. We enjoyed our time and also, took a little walk through the shops to digest. 10/10 Recommend!

This is BY FAR the best brunch in Franklin. The cauliflower & Brussel sprouts KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF. My favorite entrée is the chimichurri steak!! I also Love the breakfast tacos & smoked salmon bowl. Presentation is 5 stars. The chef is clearly a MASTER of sauces. The cauliflower by itself? Pretty good. But then I swirled it in the sauce. FLAVOR EXPLOSION. I have never liked brussels sprouts, but my server insisted these were delicious. I gave them a whirl and I LOVED THEM. Whatever is in that white sauce is divine. I’m not a big drinker but I loved the pink cocktail. Don’t remember the name. It Was DELICIOUS. The service was five stars! He was so attentive. I’ll definitely be back. I’d love to try dinner at Etch!

Had a great Brunch at Etch recently. The Service and food are always on point. We had the Soup of the day to start which was a White Miso and Golden Beet puree, it was so so good ( no picture). we followed the soup with a Truffle Grilled cheese and the Quiche of the day. Can’t wait to do it again.

We have heard good things about etch but it was our first visit. It was a normal date night turned into an amazing culinary experience. Our meal was creative, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Everything was truly exceptional. We will be back soon.

Brought my wife to dinner her for her birthday. We do not live in Franklin, so we didn’t know what to expect. We just found Etch online. To describe this restaurant in one word: Phenomenal! The atmosphere is perfect for a date night or special occasion. The staff was pleasant, professional, and friendly. The food was amazing! Honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. Etch is a place to return to time and time again.

Though a little pricey, we had a wonderful experience! The only things I didn’t end up feeling was worth the price were the cocktails. Granted I know inflation blah blah blah but I’m just not a fan of spending $16 on a cocktail. The food was very good and, mostly, well balanced. The presentation was top-tier, as you can see. Overall 5 ⭐!

I wasn’t going to review this restaurant because I’ve reviewed the Nashville one a long time ago (for dinner) but then I decided to. First time here. It was not crowded at noon vs the other restaurants in the factory and I cannot figure out why. We came just after noon for Sunday brunch). Our meal was phenomenal. We ordered all 3 of the appetizers (the mushrooms…just get them). I had the Mediterranean salad with the wild caught salmon (and thank you for specifying that!). I think it might actually be the best salmon I’ve ever had. The champagne vinaigrette was amazing. I got it on the side so I could control how much went on. It was SO good! Best catfish our friend had ever had (he grew up with his grandfather owning a catfish farm). I mean, everything was just amazing. Highly recommend. And do not miss the coffee cake for dessert!

We had an phenomenal experience tonight! We booked a reservation for our anniversary and every single team member we interacted with told us congratulations. The food was absolutely incredible and very generous portions. We loved the roasted cauliflower appetizer, Brussel sprouts side, and the Pavlova dessert. We will absolutely be back again!

One of the finest dining experiences I’ve had in Franklin! From the moment I walked into etch, I felt welcomed by the warm, modern atmosphere and the professional yet friendly staff.
The food was a masterpiece—each dish felt like it was plated with passion. The Wasabi Salmon was beautifully balanced with just the right kick. The Smoked Carpaccio melted in the mouth, and the Apple Sesame Tart surprised me with its complexity. For dessert, the Chocolate Mousse, Bread Pudding, and Pavlova were heavenly. Every course delivered a new highlight.
Service was seamless—attentive without being overbearing, and very knowledgeable when it came to dietary needs. I really appreciated the clearly labeled vegetarian options and the flexibility for dietary restrictions.
Parking is easy and convenient with free and valet options nearby, making it stress-free to plan your evening.
Accessibility is well thought out and the space is wheelchair-friendly.
Although it’s not themed for kids, it’s a calm and respectful space where older children would feel comfortable.
This is more than just dinner—it’s a flavorful experience worth savoring. Highly recommend Etch for anyone looking for world-class food in a charming, approachable setting.

My partner and I love going to Etch!! The service is always pleasant and the food is an exceptional experience every time! For Valentine’s Day we planned to go to the Nashville location and were unfortunately included in an overbooking error. However, they were very accommodating and offered us a spot at the Franklin location. We had a great time! Fine dining is not something we can fit into our budget very often, and we are grateful that every time we visit either spot it is worth every penny!
