This is the Gardena outlet of the Taiwanese fast food Bafang Dumpings. I just had their one dozen steamed dumplings and hot and sour soup combination. Dumplings are exactly same taste as the other outlet in Torrance. One really good dish here is the beef noodle soup which is really excellent. Hot and sour soup is using white pepper powder as the spice so it is quite tolerable. This location has many other restaurants near by so it will not be busy. Plenty of parking in this strip mall.

This Bafang Dumpling is right opposite Tokyo Central and is easy to find. The store is quite large, but there are not many tables and chairs. It feels very spacious and you can enjoy your food slowly here. The dumplings taste very good, no different from other stores in the same group, maintaining a consistent standard. The noodles are also very elastic, and the price here is not expensive. It is very cost-effective to enjoy a leisurely lunch in this store.

The beef noodle soup has plenty of meat and a flavorful broth.
The hot and sour soup is rich with ingredients and very satisfying.
The fried pork chop is well-seasoned and full of flavor.
Both the pan-fried and boiled dumplings taste just like freshly made ones — delicious.

My first time coming here. I ordered the Mala Beef Noodle Soup. The broth was flavorful and complex but light. You can taste the spices, but not overpowering. Loaded with green onions and cilantro and with just the right amount of kick. The noodles were firm, had good consistency, perfectly cooked. Loaded with big, chunky pieces of beef. My only complaint was the ratio of noodles to broth. I wish they had given more noodles.

I also tried the dumplings with cabbage and pork. It was very juicy, and moist. They have different sauces available to build your own concoction.

Service is prompt. The dining area is very well maintained and sanitary.

A friend recommended this restaurants. I found one of their locations near by and decided to try it out.

Great location with plenty of free parking.

Restaurant is rather large with a few indoor tables and bar seating.

It’s clean but the staff didn’t clean the tables once guests finished their meals.

There are two large garbage bins and a rack near the restroom where guests can dispose of their trash and place the trays and bowls.

Service is quick, but mediocre and semi friendly.

The corn and chicken dumplings were ok. I’m pretty sure I can find frozen ones that are just as good if not better. $6 for six pieces is a bit pricey.

The same can be said about the corn and chicken pot stickers.

The Bafang Taiwanese Beef noodles were very good. The beef was flavorful and tender. Unfortunately, there were only two pieces in the giant bowl. The broth was good and the noodles were perfectly cooked and flavorful. It’s enough to feed two two people. So $16.75 is reasonable.

The chili pepper fried chicken was very crispy and flavorful. Probably the best item I enjoyed. $8 is reasonable.

The atmosphere is relaxed with late 90s/early 2000 music playing. Very enjoyable.

If you’re on the hunt for a culinary gem, let me tell you about the incredible experience my wife and I had at this restaurant. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we decided to take a chance—and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was calm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable meal.

Let’s talk about the food—simply phenomenal. One standout was their beef soup—rich, flavorful, and truly a dish to savor. It’s one of those meals you’ll dream about long after the last spoonful. The dumplings were perfection, bursting with flavor, and the potstickers were just the right balance of crispy and tender. Every bite was a treat for the senses.

And it doesn’t stop there! Their drink menu is a must-try. I went for the Soy Tiger Boba, which was creamy, sweet, and refreshing. My wife opted for the Iced Lemon Black Tea, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. These drinks were the ideal way to end an already amazing meal.

As if all this wasn’t enough, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Whether you’re craving bold flavors or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind, this restaurant hits all the marks.

We highly recommend this place for its fantastic food, relaxing atmosphere, and unbeatable value. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it—it’s a hidden treasure that’s worth every bite. Delicious food, great service, and unforgettable flavors—this spot is a must-visit!

Counter service dumpling restaurant from Taiwan, and it serves some real comforting food. We tried the signature dumplings, the signature pot stickers, corn chowder, and the chicken and corn pot stickers. The best dish is the signature pot stickers that came with the right amount of crisp and juicy fillings. The dumplings are not bad, but lacking an oomph. The only thing we won’t order again is the corn chowder, it tasted very much like a canned soup.

Not worth it. Staff won’t let you use the outlets. Food portions are small and potstickers were bland. The only positive was that it took 10 min for my food to be ready. For 15 dollars, you can find something better next door.

Love their dumplings & potstickers as usual! This location is relatively new and pretty clean when I visit. I ordered ahead so didn’t have to wait too long after arriving. Really recommend their SOY AWESOME (add boba), it’s not too sweet and comes with a lot of toppings!

Tried their fried chicken for the first time today, I would say the flavor profile is pretty good but a bit dry/ overcooked.

Hot and sour soup was a bit off today for some reason.. so not sure about that.
