I got the rub platter. While the ribs and green chili sasuge was got the brisket was dry and had no flavor. There bbq beans have no flavor and their mac and cheese was nothing special. A little bit of spices and seasoning would go a long way in the way in the sides and brisket. They were out of most of thier meats so I was supposed to get a double portion of brisket but they only gave me a single portion or there normal portion sizes are small. Another thing was the large sweet i ordered was very weak and tasted like water. I ended up buying a jug of red diamond tea from walmart because the tea here was that bad. However, the bbq sauce here is amazing with the perfect amount of kick.

Went went and it wasn’t busy or packed, the cashier was lovely, and the owner Coach J came out and made sure everything was good. My son is a picky eater and said he wants to come back so we definitely will be. This is Texas BBQ and the sauce is perfect.

On a long road trip and decided to stop in…met Coach J when we walked up and he’s fantastic! Friendly & genuine!
My husband ordered the 2 meat with brisket, ribs, beans and mc n cheese. I got the meatball sandwich and it came with potatoe chips. Ribs were tasty but don’t miss getting those meatballs! Wow! BBQ meat chopped rolled in bacon and smoked. OMG! So good! Nice sauce too.
Coach J gave us water for our pup. Friendly staff and got to hear some of his story. Sweet guy. Check this place out!!

Showed up expecting to experience J’s BBQ and was met by the owner I suspect, to be told that they were closed today due to a large catering event. I explained to him that I was just passing and would be back on the road tomorrow. He must have seen the disappointment in my face because he offered to sneak me a Brisket sandwich to which I said Sure. He came out with a bag and handed it to me and I thanked him for being so gracious. I then went back to my RV and took part in a wonderfully prepared sandwich which included I’m assuming his own BBQ sauce that was out of this world. I will definitely stop in when I pass through this area again. Thank you for your hospitality.

The downside here is that he is only open on Friday and Saturday. And, he is only open from 11am until he runs out of food. The bbq sauce is very good. I have had the nachos and the brisket sandwich. Their coleslaw is good. They have Mexican coke. There is a small outdoor area where you can sit and eat. I just order the food at the window and then take it home.

Nope nope nope! This place is definitely not it for BBQ. All the sides taste store bought from the potato salad to the Mac n cheese the meats are dry no flavor lots of fat on meat. The only thing I can say was good was my drink the coconut tea was great! Really disappointed because I heard the place was amazing but nope definitely was not…..
