The food truck is located behind a bar/brewery and they share an outdoor patio. The young lady who served us was extremely nice and helpful. I was here from FL to visit my friend in Charlotte, we decided to visit the beautiful area of Black Mountain. We stumbled upon this cute food truck and were looking for some good BBQ items. We ordered the pulled pork quesadilla, the smoked chicken soup, cheeseburger, side of baked beans, and coleslaw. While the cashier was very nice, unfortunately the food was not. It took a about 15 mins because of 2 orders in front of ours, which the cashier let us know. When we received the food, it was cold to lukewarm. I understand it was a very windy cold day, so we completely understood the temp may not be up to par. My friend tried the smoked chicken soup, while it looked delicious it was definitely canned Progresso chicken noodle soup. It still had chunks of the cubed chicken from the can mixed with bits of shredded chicken and soup seasoning this soup was about $8. The quesadilla was dry and lacked sauce for something that should have been a BBQ pulled pork quesadilla. The cheeseburger tasted like it was a frozen patty, it definitely didn’t taste fresh. The BBQ baked beans tasted like Bush’s baked beans. The coleslaw did seem to be made in house, but tasted more like mayo and lacked any other seasoning. For all the items we ordered it was over $40. We ended up throwing away most of the food and just leaving, as we were in a hurry. I wish we had taken time to say something, but we had to get to a local store before they closed. I had such high hopes, especially from all the good reviews and pictures.

My boyfriend and I went for a late dinner during Oktoberfest, and 1) they were friendly and accommodating, 2) they were willing to open their truck back up for food though they had closed 10-20 minutes before, 3) overall just really friendly management!! Also, cheaper than other restaurants in the area!

We ordered a Smokehouse Poutine and smoked olives. The poutine is curly fries (the best fries than I have ever tasted) and pulled pork, beer cheese sauce. The olives were a surprise for me, an incredible flavor! I recommend it. A great visit if you are around Black Mountain.

Amazing smoked baked potato! Jade was creative when I asked for some sort of veggie and to make it. Meal. She topped it with the smoked chicken, and fresh corn/tomato/avocado salad. I’m telling ya, it was delicious. Not to mention, the vibes here are stellar and service is top-notch.

The smell as you approach Smoke is the perfect start to deliciousness. Highly recommend their take on poutine. The curly fries are a great balance of crispiness and softness and the mixture of flavors is fabulous!

Outstanding smoked BBQ menu connected to an incredibly good brewery in downtown Black Mountain. We visited several times over our vacation and brought the girls to lunch on a Friday. Its a really neat venue with plenty of outdoor seating that is covered. The Poutine was worth every penny!

Hands down best smoked brisket chili I’ve ever had. Drove from Marshall to Black Mountain the second day just to have it again. Wings were also bomb. Owner is super personable and friendly.
