If you want to have the best pupusas in the DMV, please come try this restaurant. Fresh, very tasty like no other. Sopa de Res is one of the best!!!!!.Great place to eat.

Don’t believe the glowing reviews. Horribly long wait, confusing walk-in ordering, and pupusas that were soggy and stuck to the paper, impossible to eat. The revueltas barely had any chicharrón and cost $3.25 each.
I ordered two medium horchatas and the deaf waitress gave me large ones and charged extra. 4 sad pupusas and 2 horchatas came to just under $30. Infuriating. Idk why I even bother with these pupusa places anymore.
Worthwhile pupusas come from homemade hands or a proper trip to the motherland where they are cheaper and infinitely better. Price gouging at its finest.
Go somewhere else. Stay away from this overpriced, disappointing spot.

This restaurant I highly recommend! The variety is incredible! The food is above and beyond delicious and filling and the service was excellent! Absolutely love this place! The value is excellent too ! Get authentic delicious food for an excellent price ! I will for sure be back ! Already recommended it to some friends!

The place is a bit rundown. Wished that some of these Latin American places would spend money in a good dinning area. The food was just as the atmosphere. The service friendly but again. The servers are running around in sweatpants and they look like they picked up any old t-shirt as they walked out their home late for work. Call it as I see it.

I stopped by Pupuseria El Buen Sabor earlier this week and can honestly say that I have never been to a more transparent and authentic pupuseria in the DMV. Ileana and her crew make the pupusas right in front of you from scratch, and are friendly and conversive.
The variety of flavors and options for pupusas alone puts most other restaurants to shame, pair that with quality and you’ve got a winning combination.
Eat in, dine out, doesn’t matter. You’ll be happy either way.
