Little Beast is simply the best, and we are so lucky to have this amazing addition to the neighborhood! The Red Wing Pizza is the stuff of my dreams, the burrata is perfect. They are so great with kids, it’s a comfortable, yummy, locally-owned and loved place that deserves all of the support. I wish them the most success in this new location, I can’t wait for the bar, coffee, and breakfast options coming in just a few months!

Need a chill vibe with delicious food and good people watching? Little Beast fills the slot. Stopped for a late afternoon bite, starving from missing breakie and lunch. What to get on a cold DC winter day? Highly recommend the tomato bisque and grilled cheese. Perfect for dipping, ooey gooey but with buttery crisp bread that is so very satisfying. The soundtrack and stellar staff the chef’s kiss! I’ll be back for those in-house made desserts in the case!

Well “The Beast” is open in the Palisades! A welcome addition to the selection of food places in the ‘hood! So far we’ve only had two Pizzas, a simple “Basic Boy” Nonna and a “Classic Cheese” Detroit style. We thought we’d start with the simple pies and work our way up from there. We are going to go back to try them all, they were so good. If you’re expecting a New Haven style pie you may be disappointed but they don’t claim to be making that kinda pie and what they make is delicious! What really stood out for me was their tomato sauce, a slightly sweet Pizza-friendly marinara, fresh and very good. Both pies were baked in oiled pans so they had the nice crispy bottom but if you really like that get the Detroit style. REALLY crispy and REALLY deep. The brick cheddar is tasty, the consistency very mozzarella-like with just a bit of that cheddar “twang”. Interesting and good. The Nonna has a more traditional, thiner crust, mozzarella pie vibe. It was good too! From what I’ve heard from neighbors their sandwiches are superb as well, can’t wait to try them. Staff was friendly and there are a few basic tables where you could sit down but as for ambiance? For adults, this is more of a take-out place, and we will, often! Family with kids? This could be a fun place to go. Thanks Little Beast! Our new “go-to” take out destination!
