A great choice… my first visit.
I liked the Cafe from the moment I entered the door. This was a great experience–very casual yet sophisticated in some casual sort of way. The food was well prepared, no complaints at all.
The service was on-point… they knew how to listen… very perceptive on timing and communication.
Will definitely visit again.

They did it again. 5-star experience
The place is packed… and well-deserved because Edgewood delivers exceptional value, experience, and service!

hadn’t been since the pandemic and didn’t have the craving (since the food was predictable and nothing to call home about… plus the menu never changed). gave it a try today and was happily surprised… calamari was fantastic, the chowdah nice and bacony, and the burger good… the menu, however, is pretty much the same…
the short of it: definitely going back for comfort food… not for other worldly experience.
(today’s edit: dinner was fine (see above) BUT there were so many dirty glasses everywhere… saw two “clean” glasses with lipstick on them… )

We’ve passed by this cozy looking BYOB spot a few times and finally decided to give it a try this week for dinner, bringing a bottle of wine. The interior is small, but feels intimate. All tables were full when we arrived so we stood at the door waiting – we weren’t really acknowledged by the staff until a table was open, so not the friendliest welcome.
The menu is a mix of pub-like sandwiches/pizzas and bigger entrees. The prices for entrees seem to be on the high side (eg. $22 for fish and chips). Staff was pretty slow and a bit inattentive. We ended up ordering mussels for appetizer, fish and chips, and spaghetti w/ clams. A general comment on the food was that everything was slightly under-seasoned. However, the batter for fish and chips was light and crisp.
In the end, it was hard to justify the $70 meal (after tax) when we brought our own booze.

Heard verbal endorsement of the Cafe, so we thought we would check it out. The place was packed with folks waiting to be seated, and the attraction was the BYOB element along with the diverse menu of all genres of Americana. My wife enjoyed the Angus burger, where they smothered it with bre cheese and caramelized onions all at her request. I had the pulled pork sandwich myself, and both arrived quickly after ordering. We also split the bread pudding for desert. Prices were a bit high, but overall, it was a nice meal!

Went with 5 people tonight and every dish was delicious! Don’t leave without getting the mussels! Thank you to the staff for a great meal especially our server! Great job, warm and knowledgeable about the menu. (dined on 3/13)

Wonderful server, but our main course food (for two) took quite a long time to come out – over an hour (we did not order appetizers). The cole slaw had way too much mayonaisse; I couldn’t eat it because it was so thick. It was pretty loud inside with almost a full house. There’s outdoor seating as well, but it was raining. BYOB with a small fee for them to provide glassware.

We booked our office Christmas party here- based on recommendations from friends. And we could not have asked for a more perfect spot! The food was fantastic! From apps to entrees to desserts – just fantastic. The service was awesome. By the time we finished, we were like old friends.

While the owner/chef has changed the food and service hasn’t. The menu hasn’t changed yet but there were a couple of different specials from the past. A couple of traditional dishes had slight adjustments with a slight different spice combination in sauces but very delicious still. It’s still BYOB. Our server a holdover is still excellent

Great little (Cozy) cafe in a little neighbor setting. It’s only open 5-9 pm, and seating is very limited (beware). It’s BYOB which really helps to cut down costs on any meal you have eating out. The food is just so good, really great ingredients, made to perfection. What a gem this little place is. I love it.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. The Edgewood Café is an understated little gem. The décor is very basic, as is the menu – which is one of the things I appreciated right away. The chef presented a few fresh, locally sourced, select wonderful choices. It was a tough choice between the salmon poke and the baked salmon with a sweet chili glaze… so I ordered both. I was glad I did – both dishes were absolutly delicious. The poke was delicate and tender and with an unami flavor and the baked salmon melted in my mouth with that yummy citrus glaze. The service was lovely and enhanced the meal. The only thing I did not enjoy was the background music selection, but it did not really take away from the experience too much. If you are in the neighborhood, I highly recommend the charming Edgewood Café.
