Overall the service was great. I do have a couple of complaints. One, the cole slaw served with the perch dinner was mush. It was soupy and the texture was like it had been in a blender. However the flavor was good. The perch was excellent and the broccoli was perfectly done. Second, it should be noted on the dessert menu that the brownie dessert is large enough to serve a table of eight.

The staff here and the chefs need to be retrainined. Stay away unless you have an hour to spare waiting on a simple drink order. The restaurant was worse. Food orders not up to expectations at all. The waitress and manager were hostile and sarcastic. Not an ounce of respect for the patron..It was the most appalling and shocking dining experience I’ve ever had and I’m 60 yrs old. I was as a cook for a well known Steak House and a server. I currently am a trainer for Stellar Customer service so I know how the profession works. This experience was sub par at best. No recommendations here.

Most of the time I would give it 5 stars. Food is good and reasonably priced. This is specifically for Rebel Road 2018. Our family makes an annual event for brunch during bike time. We eat, enjoy a morning beverage, and spend the entire day downtown. This year was different. After we placed our orders we were informed that there was no bar tender on duty and they wouldn’t have one until 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

Decent enough food. Nothing to fancy. Expensive for what it is. Mostly burgers with a few other entrees. The burger i had was $11 and the bun just fell apart in my hand. So i ended up a greasy mess. Staff was great and very quick. But for the price of the average food was a bit annoying.

Stayed here before, but the rates have skyrocketed! If there was any available alternative, we wouldn’t have stayed here for $235 for one night. This would have been a 5 star rating had the price been more reasonable. Other than that, the staff were pleasant and polite especially in the dining area.

Went here last night food was excellent. Tawanda our waitress was great. She was very friendly and kept checking on us. I would highly recommend this place. The perch is really good.

Nice, clean place on the inside which is unique since it had different levels and a large, open fireplace in the center of the dining area. Nice staff. Outdoor seating is awesome and they will have love bands playing.

I am frankly shocked this restaurant has a four star rating! A reservation was called in for us but the three people we talked to, including the manager, did not know about it because they did not look at their book for the day. The prices for the dishes are priced way higher than what we received. I go a bland salad that was not filling for $10. I had to eat again when I got home. My husband got fried fish sticks that were obviously frozen with potatoes and asked for broccoli instead of coleslaw but he got both since the waitress forgot. His meal was amazingly $20.
If you come here be prepared to wait for your food. There were seven of us and there was only one or two other tables with people. Yet, we waited over a half hour for our frozen fresh food.
We wanted to split the check in two. The waitress had to talk to her manager before she split the check 30 and 70. We asked her if she could split the check 50 and 50, confusing stuff.
Not sure why we went here since the last time our group went her was for a rehearsal dinner and half the people did not receive food or the wrong dish.

If you go here with an eight or larger group an 18% tip will automatically be charged to the bill!

Our really nice waiter was severely undertrained. This poor guy had no clue what he was doing and our lunch took 2 hours and we were the only ones there. I suggest they train the servers before letting them serve a 15 top alone. The food was ok but management should have at least helped this poor kid out.

Met friends who were staying in the hotel for dinner along with other friends and family. We were seated at a row of tables and i informed the waitress that we would have at least ten people. There were already starts for thirteen at the row of tables bit only half of the seats had silverware and water glasses and there were three trays for water pitchers they brought out only two pitchers of water and didn’t ever finish setting the table.
We had several separate tabs running at the table being one of the first to arrive and had ordered a coffee for myself and a cider for my wife we sat most out the time with empty glasses… And many of our friends didn’t have any water because we only had two pitchers and they went fast.
When we finally were able to order the waitress started with grandma at one end and worked her way down the table taking food orders we were second couple to order. When the food finally came other than grandma and her boyfriend greeting Thier food first nothing came out in order or together several people were still waiting for Thier food as others were finishing other than the first couple dishes everything was cold or art leary not “hot” one person’s hamburger was so cold that the cheese had rehardened..
My turkey bacon avacado sandwich with onion rings had hardly any visible turkey let alone tasteable turkey and my onion rings were cold. I didn’t complain nor did i ask for a replacement but towards the end the waitress brought out a second sandwich with onion rings that nobody ordered and she just left out asst the table…. Which a young lady with the party that hadn’t ordered anything took… Compared with the meal i had received there was twice as much onion rings and at least twice as much turkey and bacon on her sandwich…
Beyond the food being cold and inadequate the service was horrible… And they demanded an 18% tip not suggested or optional demanded… Even though there were several complaints from people within our group none were offered a discount nor cold meals removed from their bills. And then to tip it off they have a place in their bills asking for additional tip… After charging 18% for sub standard food that is laughable and almost infuriating to some people on our party.

For a Saturday evening this place was dead and i can tell you why. Even though the atmosphere is pleasant the prices, selection and service make this probably the worst choice for anyone dining in the Down town Muskegon area.
