I am Cuban and I loved the food and the service in general. The atmosphere is very rich with music (salsa) and has a lot of variety and prices. I remembered the mofongo (fufu) of my grandmother . If you want to go to a different place with quality in all services, you should definitely visit this place.

This place has that rare “hole-in-the-wall” charm where the food is authentic, the music is alive, and the energy feels like you walked into someone’s home rather than a restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, genuine, and welcoming. Even though the menu was in Spanish, the owner, Sai, kindly helped us navigate it, and everything we chose was absolutely delicious.
We didn’t just enjoy great food; we shared a moment of humanity, hope, and community with people who felt like friends by the time we left. It was warm, soulful, and deeply memorable.
If you’re looking for authentic Dominican food, great music, heartfelt hospitality, and a place where you feel truly welcomed, this spot is a gem. We will absolutely be back — and we’ll be bringing others with us.

Fantastic experience! We got the snapper meal with plantain and rice, it was incredibly delicious (not to mention huge ) and the host was super attentive. The mamajuana was the best I’ve tasted. Super random but ideal stop from a couple of Canadians road tripping from Houston to Nola!

We 10000000% went to support the restaurant. We almost never eat out but this review is not only coming from me. It’s a summary review of all the people that went with us and the ones that we sent over. Only thing is first impressions mean everything!!!!!!! I want to give suggestions that we think would make it better.
Recheck if your food heating elements are keeping the food hot! EVERYTHING we ordered was Luke warm to cold.
Some of us thought the salt level was high and some thought is was lacking flavor.
It was a bit chaotic the first day. FOR US. I do understand that but people that went there days after still complained to us about the same thing I mentioned.
Other than that owners and employees are super nice and very Catering and if you tell them something was wrong they where quick to fix it. But if people don’t say anything and come here to tell them everything was good then how will they know to fix it!?? I think TIME is all they need to perfect it.
