I would probably give a 1.5 if I could. Food was overpriced for the quality. It was a “family Mexican” restaurant but had 5 customers on a Friday night. And don’t even get me started on the bathroom! Being a guy I was unable to gain access to the women’s bathroom, but in the men’s bathroom the urinals were arranged in such a weird way I had to take a picture. It’s attached to this review. Back to the arrangement of the urinals. One urinal was in the back of a long corridor between a stall and the wall and the other urinal was within 18 inches of that stalls door, forcing the person using the urinal at the back to try to squeeze by anyone using the other urinal. What an awkward situation!

The food was very good & prices were in line with a quality Mexican restaurant. We had the fajitas for 2. The sauce the meat & veggies were cooked in had great flavor. The chips at the beginning were warm & served with a tasty, spicy salsa & a bean dip which complimented the salsa. The restaurant was clean & the service was good. We will be going back.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty empty which meant there was plenty of parking and plenty of places to sit. Food was ok, could have been better, and the portions we’re large. Because the portions we’re large, not the quality of the food, the price seemed reasonable. The host was friendly when we saw him, which wasn’t much. As this place was virtually empty, the time it took to get our food was far to long. Won’t be going back and will not recommend.

Went into the bar and ordered steak fajitas to take out. The drink was great, bar was empty but atmosphere at the bar was great. The steak fajita take out on the other hand… lets just say, I would have liked at least a little bit of steak in my fajita. it was mostly just onions and all together serving size was very small. I love Mexican food but the cooks at Alfonso’s Mexican don’t know what the hell they’re doing.

The food here was absolutely delicious! I had the steak fajita, perfectly seared steak, the rice wasn’t soggy and my boyfriend had the taco de carbon or something like that, he said it was the best Mexican food he’s had. Perfectly served steak bits and freshly fried tortillas, and we didn’t have to ring out any water from frozen meats like we did the last place we went. Definitely tasted fresh and we will definitely be back.

1st time today at Alfonzo’s with family. I ordered the house steak, and my grandmother ordered shrimp chimichanga. Food was lukewarm at best, the steak was tough and hard to cut and chew, and the rice was crispy like it was scraped straight off the bottom of the pan, overcooked. Drinks also tasted watered down and strange. 2 different competing Music stations playing at the same time that was very obnoxious. I don’t normally like to leave bad reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend this place again.

Needs updating decor. We were seated in a booth. Very uncomfortable setting. Bathroom stunk beyond words. Dank overall…back to Tres Hermanos! Much cleaner there. Food has taste….drinks are better!

Great food, friendly staff. My wife and I frequent this place often for lunch. If you happen to go there for dinner, they have a person making fresh tortillas behind a counter, and they will give you one as a free sample to try. Yum!

I love this place. Rhe food is always good and hot. The wait staff is super friendly. Full bar and bar area that may have a smoking area? I have only been there for lunch. They have a lunch menu also.
