Best bakery in town. The owner is so sweet and always does a great job to meet my needs. I never write reviews, but just had to for them!
Such a great staff who worked with me for an order for my party. Ordered a strawberry shortcake over the weekend and was very happy with the result on Monday. My office decided that it was so good that we had to come back and get some other treats as well.
Everything was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced.

The folks here are warm and friendly. The apple turnover is sensational. Both times I have been there, the apple turnover was warm. They have some seating inside to enjoy a hot coffee and French pastry. Everything is fresh and gorgeous.

This is NOT a Galette des Roi. Puff pastry lacked flakiness, a bit too greasy, and the filling was dried with very little almond flavor.
The top lacked the pretty and glossy design that is a signature of this pasty and was overcooked!

Been coming for years. Haven’t been in probably a year. Service was indifferent bordering on rude and slow. The pistachio croissant tasted old and dry. Tried charging $7 for an espresso when it is posted at $3.75! The croissants here used to be amazing. Not sure if it was sold but overall very disappointing.

I walked into this bakery and was immediately made to feel out of place by the way I was looked at. It was clear I wasn’t welcome. On top of that, the prices are ridiculous—$12 for a single small pastry? That’s unacceptable. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

This little bakery is such a hidden gem. You do not find authentic, traditional style baked goods like this anymore. The cheese danishes are like no other I’ve ever had. The almond croissants are phenomenal. I Truly recommend it!

I lived in big cities around the world for a long time, and after moving to the ‘burbs I was pleasantly surprised to find that La Renaissance Patisserie was the French bakery that I wished for all along. Excellent croissants, baguettes, etc. Is every item the perfect? Of course not. But I love their commitment to going for great. They have very high standards. And the staff is usually very nice.
Realistically, though, this is Scarsdale, and there are some reviewers who just want to hate, so I’d take some of the nasty-gram negative reviews with a grain of salt. More than once, I’ve seen a high-maintenance customer badger the staff, and never be satisfied regardless of how much the staff tries to accommodate.
For me, I’m thankful for having such a great bakery in the place where I live.

I rediscovered this delicious bakery recently and now I am addicted! It’s the only place I can find a brioche that tastes the way they are supposed to. They also make great croissants and gorgeous cakes, pies, and yummy quiches. Yesterday, we tried a chocolate cake for a chocolate lover’s birthday – it was fabulous: light, beautiful, delicious,… a huge success! The cookies look really good as well, but I haven’t tried those yet. This bakery is the best around, if searching for a taste of France- wether it be a little snack or a lovely cake, this is the place to go.
