We loved our experience at 6 Restaurant! It’s such a beautiful neighborhood spot and perfect for a date night without going all the way to Manhattan. The interior is clean and beautiful, and the hospitality really makes the place special! Kirk, the owner, is always so kind. Eric, the bartender, was warm, knowledgeable, and fun to chat with!
The food was FANTASTIC. Fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and really flavorful dishes. (Octopus was SO tender like dream!) You can tell a lot of care goes into everything. Also, my husband is obsessed with their burger — definitely a must try! So happy to have a place like this in the neighborhood. We’ll definitely be back! THANK YOU❤️

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant for the first time. I opted for their 5-Course Prix Fixe menu, and order their wine pairing. The scallop dish was an exquisite start, followed by the delightful Tiger bread. The Iberico pork was a standout, and the fish dish was equally impressive. The chocolate cake was a perfect end to the meal. Each dish was incredibly delicious, well-balanced, and executed to perfection. The wine pairing was an excellent complement to the overall experience. Special thanks to David and Kirk, the entire team did an amazing job.

6 is a standout new spot in Brooklyn with food that feels Michelin-level at neighborhood prices. The prix fixe is a great deal: five courses for under $100, and even the wine pairing is affordable. Every course was gorgeous and delicious.

The service needs a bit of polish. Not bad by any means, but details matter. A few times, courses were brought out before we were ready, and at one point, during a coughing spell after I swallowed water the wrong way, they started pouring the next wine. Small things, and easily fixable.

With the level of food they are producing, it is easy to overlook. We will definitely be back soon. Do not sleep on this future Bib Gourmand.

I had such an incredible dining experience at 6 NYC in Carroll Gardens. Every single dish we ordered was outstanding—full of flavor, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared.

The standout for me was the gnocchi with confit duck leg—it was rich, perfectly balanced, and truly unforgettable. But honestly, every dish we tried was a hit. The restaurant has a great atmosphere as well, making it a perfect spot for a date night.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for creative, flavorful dishes in a warm Brooklyn setting.

The best 5 course meal my wife and I have ever had thus far. Our hands down favorite, and rightfully so as sushi fanatics, was the hamachi. Talk about fresh on fresh on fresh on fresh. Fresh fish, fresh fruit, fresh sauce, fresh cream, fresh presentation—insanely delicious and refreshing.

The tiger bread was some of the most exceptional bread we’ve ever had as well. The garlic was as buttery smooth to spread as the whipped butter itself, and was pleasantly flavorful without being overly potent.

My next course was the butternut squash rigatoni. The garnish on top was light and crisp and added that extra accent to the whole dish to round it off beautifully. My wife got the iberico pork, which was cooked to tender perfection. The broccoli mash concoction that came with it was reminiscent of broccoli rabe but basically in it’s ultimate form anime-style. Crazy inventive.

The next course for me was the beer battered monkfish with risotto and was actually the best beer battered anything I’ve ever tasted. Superior crisp encasing that mouth melting fish. The risotto had crispy chunks in it as well and helped offset the heaviness of the fried fish like a wife offsets her husband’s hard shell exterior and gives way to his heart of flesh. Speaking of, my wife got the lamb with risotto and it was yet again a perfectly tender cut of meat. It was smokey and carried a more intense flavor, which also was rounded out by the gentleness of the risotto, complimenting it on that marital level yet again.

Lastly, the desserts came in and ended the whole show the same way it began—with favorite-level energy. It was the solid second favorite course for both of us. Mine was the panna cotta. Yo. It went crazy. It was like a salted caramel apple cheesecake, but after finding a way to dial in each ingredient to the max before artistically laying it all out on a plate without any of the cheesecake crust. I LOVE sweet/savory, and it encapsulated that in a dessert beautifully. My wife had the chocolate cake with ice cream, and like we don’t even know how to properly describe how good that one was—but here goes nothing. The cake was dark dark and rich rich from the sauce oozing on top to the moist pastry itself. The ice cream had a citrus undertone to it that balanced out the richness of the cake. Literally, yin and yang on a plate with the freshest chocolate drenched cherries on top. Good Lord, the Lord is good indeed.

The service was top notch, from the warm greetings, to the coat check in, to the menu break down, to the seamless water refilling and course transitions. We are big on omakase type meals as sushi heads, and this was up there while being a fraction of the price. There was a chill and comforting vibe to the whole restaurant as well. Take a trip here and let them take your palette on a trip it will sing praises on the whole way through. Bless.

A quiet, cozy place, good for a date. The menu selection is small, but it’s perfect for a light dinner. They also have a prefix menu. I really like their signature “tiger” bread. Everything was fresh.

Such a gem! We had the 5-course tasting menu and really enjoyed it. Each dish was thoughtful and delicious, with just the right balance of flavors. The vibe is relaxed but still special, and the service was friendly and attentive without being too much. We feel so lucky to have this place within walking distance — it’s already become one of our go-to spots. For $95, the value is amazing. Highly recommend for a great night out!

We went twice within the same week, because we left wanting more, and the 2nd time allowed us to experience different dishes.
From the moment you enter, you get this very pleasant, cozy & modern Parisian bistro feeling.
Kirk’s hospitality is off the charts. He is an owner who really cares about his patrons and it shows.
The food is very well executed, and beautiful to the eye at the same time. We went from one discovery to another, as the tastes matched the beauty of the presentations. There is a lot of attention to details in this restaurant.
The Lamb Guiso might as well be their signature dish, along with the creatively presented Pork Schnitzel. Both are not to be missed. We went a la carte for both nights but begged for 2 dishes from the tasting menu that were quite appealing.
If I was living in Brooklyn, I would be there routinely. We will return for sure, as this restaurant seems to ambitious enough to evolve even further.
The wine list is also creatively concocted.

Wow what an incredible new neighborhood gem! This place absolutely surpassed expectations. We went as a group of 5 and got every item on the menu except the cheese, two of a few things based on the waiters’ recommendations on portion size. Then the pastas were so good we had to get a second order of both of those too! Flavors are well balanced and food isn’t overly salted or just pure butter like many other places. Can’t wait to come back and try the tasting menu as well.

So so happy we found this place! Truly felt like Michelin level food and presentation but with quality like this, sadly they will probably soon become much harder to reserve.

Carol Garden is my new favorite area for a fine dining yet stopped to surprise me. Here is another brand new gem in its crown. This place will provide you with very fine example of Netherland culinary. The place is very classy, yet cozy and perfect for a romantic dinner. It has very open contemporary design with probably the most open kitchen that I ever seen. Imagine that you’re in the loft, the dining area just continues into the kitchen without any, even formal barrier or separation. As for the food everything that we tried and I mean everything was simply delicious! The hamachi, gnocchi, mushrooms everything was top notch! The dessert was equally great, especially passion Fruit- a perfect combination of taste and texture without being too sweet. The portions on the conservative side, but were very filling and price is also very comfortable for the quality of this place. The only advice I would have to get them their tiger bread a bit bigger.
The place is open just in March 2025, but already made a very recommend place if you want to have a great dining in Brooklyn.
I would definitely come back for more.
