Excellent staff. Great Ramen and Torro(Tuna belly one of the best I’ve had in OC) it’s under the Chefs special. I would dine in and enjoy the food.
Keep up the good work guys.

Great service and yummy food for a great price. The servers are very attentive young kiddos who are on top of the service. The restaurant is very small and cozy, it seems that most locals get their food to go. Very close from the hotels in the area but definitely a locals restaurant.

The best affordable sushi in Costa Mesa. I live in LA but work in Costa Mesa often. Every time I’m in OC, I try to come here. I love their rolls and spicy ramen. So comforting and filling. I recommend the tempura rolls and the spicy ramens they serve. The broth is delicious

Hidden Gem Near South Coast Plaza
I love this small sushi and ramen spot! Our main courses were generous and satisfying, leaving us full and happy. We ordered:
Fresh edamame $3.95 was a nice start. I liked that it had a naturally sweet taste. The BSCR Roll $13.95 and Baked Lobster Roll $15.95 were rich and delicious. The Sashimi Salad $12.95 was refreshing, and the Assorted Sashimi (12 pieces) $26.95 was fresh and well worth it.
The Philly Tempura Roll $13.95 had great texture, and I really liked the Tonkotsu Ramen $13.95 which was warm and satisfying
Overall, everything tasted great, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The service was also a standout, exceptionally prompt, friendly, and welcoming. Plus, there’s plenty of parking around.
It’s a true hidden gem that delivers both quality and value!

This place is an absolute disgrace. They are *not* ADA compliant—my wheelchair couldn’t even get through the door. When I reported it to the ADA, we still tried to give them a chance, asking if they could accommodate us at the outdoor table. But instead of being helpful, they made us wait while they phoned someone, just to decide whether they could even serve us outside.
We chose to be patient and understanding, but that was clearly a mistake. After a ridiculous wait, they finally agreed to seat us, only to botch our order completely. We ordered two black ramens and a tonkatsu ramen, but they managed to give us something we didn’t order, and what we did get was bland, missing all the extras we paid for—bok choy, extra mushrooms, extra noodles.
To top it all off, the bill was over $100, and we were treated like an inconvenience the entire time. The server was visibly angry, glaring at us throughout the meal.
The only saving grace was the sushi, which was excellent. But honestly, who cares when everything else—ramen, service, and accessibility—was a total disaster? This place is not worth your time or money.

The service is some of the best ive had in a long time . Attentive, informative and very welcoming. The rolls are delicious we’ll portioned and reasonably priced.

Americanized sushi. They used a lot of minced fish which it is a sign of not the best quality in the fish, however the fish tasted fresh. The rolls were falling apart, not a good sign either. The waitress forgot a plate we ordered, never brought napkins for the table nor chopsticks, I had to grab those from other tables. Brought the bill but didn’t come to pick up the card, so I had to take it to them.

This is easily the best “hole in the wall” sushi joint I’ve ever visited. The rolls were delicious, the appetizers (we highly recommend the spicy edamame picture below) were scrumptious, and the main courses were quite filling. The service was exceptionally prompt and friendly. If you’re anywhere near South Coast Plaza, I whole heartedly recommend you try them out.

We went there with my wife for lunch and it was amazing. Very delicious sushi. It’s a small cute place with great sushi. Highly recommend it. We ordered Backed salmon, spicy crunchy roll and crunchy dragon roll. The only issue I had was that the way the restaurant is situated you get a lot of sun light into the store. It was a bit blinding lol. But that’s okay, for this food I will go and have sushi with my sun glasses.

Okay, I am a sushi addict, and this place opening near my house is the greatest thing that happened to me this year. Their sushi is absolutely delicious, some are really huge, and they are moderately priced. Philadelphia is so fresh and delicious you’d think they only caught the fish prior to your visit. Crunch roll is ginormous and has a perfect combination of crab meat, shrimp and their special sauce. California roll is an eternal classic that is simple yet delicate. The selection is great as well! They have sushi burritos, noodles and of course, tons of sushi options. Ten out of ten. Special shout out to the personnel – they are friendly and lovely and always make you feel welcome. I am writing this review because I really want this place to be successful and stay near my house for as long as possible.
