While it is part of the Pita Jungle chain, this is one of their nicer locations. The atmosphere is a little more upscale, but not in a negative way, and the staff is super nice. The bowl of soup is massive, would highly recommend it. And, this location has lots of parking. Overall, a great spot in all aspects.

Poor Service Experience at Pita Jungle
I’ve been a regular at the Pita Jungle location on 44th Street and Indian School in Phoenix for over a year, but my recent experiences have been consistently disappointing due to one particular server named Scott.
During my last visit approximately 30 minutes before closing, Scott’s service was exceptionally rushed. He made multiple comments about the kitchen closing soon despite our party having arrived well within operating hours. When we asked for recommendations, he sighed audibly and provided one-word answers without making eye contact.
What was most concerning was Scott’s passive-aggressive communication style. When we requested extra pita bread, he responded in a tone that made us feel unwelcome. He then proceeded to clear plates before we had finished eating, which felt intentionally disruptive.
I’ve noticed this pattern with Scott on multiple occasions, particularly during evening shifts. His behavior creates an uncomfortable dining experience that contradicts Pita Jungle’s otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Management should address this consistent poor customer service, as it’s impacting what could otherwise be an excellent dining establishment.
The food quality remains good, but Scott’s service alone makes me hesitant to return to this specific location. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional customer service training.

I have a regular meeting in the area and have come several times to this location. Every time I’ve gone I get there not too long before close. Cuz they close at 9:00 p.m. and my meeting ends at 8:00. But every time, I usually come with a large group and they have plenty of room available for us, move tables without making it seem like a chore. And their food has always been really damn good. I’ve been on this diet and last night I had stuff from their budget selection. It was chicken enchilada soup and a shawarma chicken taco. Both were actually really very tasty. The taco was absolutely delicious. The only thing was that jalapeno that was on top was super duper hot. I wish I hadn’t eaten it. Normally I can handle jalapenos but this was hotter than the surface of the Sun. Despite that, I’ve always had a great experience here. They split the checks in a large party with no complaining and have really good service. So we’ll keep coming back.

Go to Z-Greeks instead down the street. The service was terrible and the food was not flavored with the same things the menu said. Also you’re likely to end up with a cut or cruise from the brackets under the tables. When our order was sent back it took so long that we ended up not eating it at the restaurant. The music was too loud to have a conversation and no manager even tried to apologize for the order issues. The bill come out wrong and our requests for a take out box also was unfulfilled.

Definitely my favorite spot for Mediterranean in Arcadia! Came in on 01/16/2023 for my weekly fix! I tried items off their seasonal menu for the new year, AMAZING! Mediterranean with a Mexican flare! I ordered the lemon chicken and rice soup which was super yummy! I also ordered the “Amazing” hummus & chicken and name did disappoint! I’ll definitely be back in a week to try other items off their seasonal menu!

Love the California Beach Lavash. Never had ordered one before, but would definitely order again. Excellent food, great service. Highly recommend. So much food, could only eat half. See pic 1/2 I couldn’t eat.

Ugh. Always so good and never disappointed. Large fresh portions that is equal to 2 meals. Great flavored ice tea and lemonade. Spicy chicken wrap is my go to but the salads are great. Reasonably priced and always friendly.
