My hubby got the Ropa Vieja with moro rice & plantains; Ropa was very salty, very flavorful but not good compared to a place in NYC. Plantains were phenomenal but we got 3 pieces. I got the stew with yellow rice and tostones. The stew beef was dry and chewy. The sauce was oily and vinegary. Yellow rice and tostones were fabulous. Since the stew was tough, I got the Cuban sandwich – very good. The gal who took our order was friendly to my husband. I asked 2 questions about the food and i, personally, got the vibe she was annoyed with me. After ordering the sandwich, she called me “love.”

This place should be packed. The food was so good! I definitely recommend the Ropa Vieja & the 1/2 lb burger. My husband is very picky when it comes to burgers, & he was very impressed. He said he hasn’t had a burger that good in a while. The Ropa Vieja was perfect. The meat was tender & full of so much flavor. Truly, I would give this place a 10 if I could. Next time we’re in the area we will be stopping by!

Keys Latin House Cuban American Café is a hidden gem! The Cuban sandwich is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and absolutely fresh. Their pastries are a must-try, light, flaky, and baked fresh daily. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel like family. A true taste of Cuba in the Keys, delicious food, friendly service, and an authentic vibe. Highly recommend stopping in, you won’t be disappointed!

This was exactly what I needed to satisfy my pregnancy cravings for Cuban food!
The service was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. The atmosphere is bright, colorful, and simple — you can tell it’s new, fresh, and not overdone with décor.
The menu had everything I was hoping for. The croquetas were fresh and perfectly fried in clean oil . For breakfast, the options were great for little ones (eggs, bacon, bread), and the steak and eggs plate was the perfect protein-packed start to the day.
The coffee hit the spot with the perfect balance of coffee, milk, and sugar. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was just as good.
I’ll definitely be back and look forward to seeing this place grow into a local favorite!

This place is unique, the atmosphere is so great with the wall arts that made me feel in Havana Streets eating outdoors the Bodeguita del Medio Restaurant, a famous restaurant in Havana City where Ernest Hemingway used to have the refreshed mojitos.
The attendant and cook are super nice and professional. The breakfast was delicious. I am recommending this place to my friends so they could have such a great experience.

No wonder it has such a high rating! This a cute, little place to get great food and excellent service… your belly will thank you! The empanadas of ropa vieja, and the beef empanadas are delicious. Their pork is fresh and so well made. Next time I will definitely try their cuban sandwich. Thank you Ricky, the blonde lady , and the cook for an awesome experience. We’ll be back!
