When in Russellville, you must stop here if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food. Want something that’s not listed on the menu? Chances are high they can make that happen. We ate here after being told that it was THE best and had to agree. The interior space is one step above “hole in the wall” which is exactly what we like. Fantastic food and excellent service. Not like every other Mexican restaurant in the South.

Definitely a go to in Russellville! I loved that there was a variety of choices on the menu. We had the chicken flautas, huarache, and the torta cubana. You could tell that the ingredients were fresh, especially in the guacamole and salsa (chef’s kiss ). My aunt really enjoyed her oysters.
The vibes of the restaurant alone had me hooked. The interior was very charming and cute. The servers were amazing and patient!

Found this restaurant through search while in area. Walked in mid afternoon to a clean, festive environment. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. The food selections were authentic and not as typical as you view at some restaurants. Chips and salsa arrived quickly with the extra hot to add as your choice.
The waitress answered all questions and we placed the order. It did take a little longer than usual but when the order arrived we knew exactly why. It was fresh and beautifully prepared. I have eaten a lot of Mexican food and this was one of the very best. The serving size was tremendous, could only eat half. The ingredients were fresh and obviously not just sitting out waiting to go on a plate.
I had a chicken burrito filled with meat, cheese, avocado, beans, perfect spice blend and grilled to be toasty on the outside. The person with me had a thick tortilla flatbread filled with steak, cheese, avocado, beans, lettuce and tomatoes. Can’t remember the exact name.
The food, the service and the environment were all spectacular. I would definitely go out of my way to visit here again.

This is probably the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m originally from Southern California, so I know what good Mexican food taste like. After moving to Illinois and then down south to Alabama, I had a hard time finding decent Mexican food. My family and I loved this place. My husband got the barbacoa burrito and chorizo tacos. I had the carne asada torta and pork tamale. All of it was amazing. So happy this place is down the street from our house. Staff was very nice as well and seated us promptly. We will be coming here often from now on.
