Enjoy the photos from my trash can. I ordered take out. Ordered plain naan. Received garlic and oil naan that was clearly stale. Couldn’t even chew it.
Tendons in my chicken vindaloo sauce. Large chunks of garlic. Potatoes were crunchy. Meat dry.
Spouse’s goat was tough and went in the trash.
When I called the restaurant the resolution I was offered was a free naan next time I ordered. The food all literally went into the trash.
Save your money and go elsewhere.

I have absolutely enjoyed this restaurant. First thoughts it’s extremely clean inside and it’s beautiful inside cool little vibe. The customer service was really good my server was amazing. We had started off with the Veggies Samosas , then we ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken curry , goat curry , Chana masala and buttered garlic naan oh and the tiger shrimp that comes out sizzling everything comes with rice. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious we were a table of 4 but that amount a food could definitely feed 6 people. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back and visit. There is outside side parking ( pay on the park mobile app or use quarters ). You can dine in or do take out !!

We ordered Garlic Naan, instead we got Garlic Tandoori Roti. We thought the restaurant might have made a mistake and called the restaurant. The restaurant was adamant that they didn’t make any mistakes and this is Garlic Naan, I wish they visit India soon and experience an authentic Garlic Naan, or may be a good Indian restaurant in the area.

This is an upscale Indian restaurant with a very nice atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. The mango Lassie was as good as it gets, as was the Gobi Manchurian. The vegetable jalfrezi was superb, lovely complex flavors. You have the choice of ordering the strength of the spicing from 1 to 7 a very nice idea. 5 was pretty hot but still bearable! The carrot halwa was tasty, and they gave us a complimentary rice pudding as well. Prices are reasonable. There’s free street parking after 6:00 p.m. outside. Will come back again to try more dishes!

We had chicken momo, garlic Nan, chicken korma, saag paneer & they gave us pakora as a complimentary. Pakora was really delicious. Chicken korma was average but felt like some spice was missing couldn’t kicked in with rice or garlic Nana. Paneer sag, had less paneer in it and tasted something missing again wasn’t that good. Momo wasn’t up to the mark maybe because of the sauce didn’t liked it. Liked their service & atmosphere except the food only thing we liked Pakora. Maybe their other food is good that I haven’t tried.

This place should be packed out. Really great food, staff and dining space. It’s definitely the best on the mainline for Indian food.. and I’ve tried them all regularly over the past decade.
Coming from London to the US it’s been tough to find really good Indian food. This is the best so far locally – with some better if you want travel to Cherry Hill for Indie Blue or
Into NYC.

Had dinner last evening at Nirvana in Bryn Mawr. While the food was quite good, I was very put off by both the poor (unattentive) service and the $10 corkage fee that was added to our bill. Online, the website says that the restaurant is BYOB, so we brought a bottle of wine with us. Nowhere on the website did it mention a corkage fee. The $10 is of little consequence, but it’s absolutely annoying to have an unexpected fee show up on the bill. When we questioned the waitress, she said they had a liquor license, so of course there would be a corkage fee. (We looked at the ‘bar’ as we left . . . Maybe half a dozen bottles of Bailey’s and other miscellaneous drinks … hardly a fully functioning bar.) Because we had questioned the added fee, she said she would remove the charge. She did not. The food may have been good, but there are plenty of other good restaurants in the area without hidden fees. (And better service.). We won’t be back.

Great authentic Indian food. Very nice atmosphere. Service was outstanding! How did they remember everything we ordered without writing anything down? Very impressive. Samosas were light and airy, the Samosa Chaat was something we had never tried before and will be getting every time now! Spectacular Lamb Biryani and Chicken Curry. We will surely be coming back to this special place. Best Indian food we have had in years!

Nirvana excels in both Indian and Nepali cuisines. We’ve visited twice, and during our first visit, we tried the chicken momo (with handmade wrappers), chicken tikka, and naan. Everything was incredibly flavorful and authentic.
On our next visit, we requested a customized Nepali dish since we’d been craving it, and they went above and beyond with their thali set. Although it needs to be ordered a day in advance, the effort they put into preparing it was evident. Every dish was outstanding, and the customer service was exceptional. Highly recommended!
