Our go-to breakfast spot in the valley. We live in Tamarack City, so location cannot be beat. Every time is amazing, though. Pancakes, omlettes, or our favorite, corned beef hash and eggs (extra cripsy!).
Beyond the food, you cannot beat the setting here. Great photos and some entertaining signs (even in the bathroom). It feels like the embodiment of a Cozy Yooper breakfast.

Came on a Sunday morning because Kaleva was too long of a wait. Unfortunately their machine was down and was cash only. But good coffee! Cute place. Cute coffee decor. This was the mini breakfast. Recommend!

Yum! Candie is a great cook. The food is amazing, portions are definitely filling. The server we had is always so nice and attentive. Super cute and great cafe.

I was THAT customer, I walked in 10 minutes before they closed. I tried to be very polite and ask if they were able to help me grab something quick before my flight to Isle Royale.
They were super accommodating, and I was able to get some tasty bacon and eggs and I was on my way quick as a bunny!

Great “Mom and Pop” restaurant with delicious food! Best breakfast out we’ve had in a very, very long time!! We had the corn beef hash (came with 3!!eggs) and sourdough toast, a HUGE homestyle pancake, homemade biscuits and gravy with fluffy scrambled eggs and yummy, smokey bacon. Homey, small town vibe with friendly staff. Extra large portions, with amazing prices. Cash only, so come prepared. ATM at the local grocery just down the street (worth the extra stop for sure). Would definitely come back!

If you’re in the area, this is the place for a great “homecooked” local cafe breakfast. Had eggs and hash with a pancake. My wife had biscuits and gravy (delicious). Portions were perfect, and prices were excellent (under $10 per person is reasonable). Highly recommended!
