I had a fantastic experience on each of my two visits here. The sliders are a must for an appetizer; they’re juicy and delicious. I’ve gotten the lobster roll and the seafood risotto, both great, but I’m excited to try more dishes on future visits. Staff is always welcoming and open to answering any questions!

This place is a must if you are in the St. Louis area. The pasta is absolutely exquisite. Max was our server and he was very attentive. The food was very delicious and they even sell snack items and hoodies and shirts.

Our service was amazing and the wine list was on point. We had arancini which was delicious and tagliatelle bolognese. Also very good. We prefer a savory sauce. This was a good bolognese sauce slightly sweet but not overly so with some parm blended into the sauce base. Very good. Portions are very very generous. The server really brought our experience home and did an excellent job.

So delicious! We had the cacio e pepe and the Bianca. I was blown away by everything. Unfortunately so blown away I forgot to take pictures of the food. But I did get my drink which was the tropical rum one they have on the menu. It’s very grapefruit forward, which I loved.

Food is very good. They have Lobster Rolls that aren’t outrageously expensive, and are very good. Great lobster bisque, salads, lots of fun different pasta dishes, good selection of good appetizers. Then they have burgers and other sandwiches. Nice wine list. I’ll be back to keep trying other food there. Walk thru their market on way out. Prices are good too.

Live and Learn. When I’ve been on, The Hill in the past, I always thought Marconi Mercado was a boutique grocery store. The other day I was visiting The Hill with a friend and she suggested that we go inside for a cocktail. I was bewildered, but went with the flow.
Once inside, I did see a variety of grocery items, but there was much more. They had a bakery counter that had some very tempting pastries. There was also a bar and a dining room. This all blew my mind. We had already eaten, so we just had Espresso Martinis at the bar. The martinis were made with real espresso, which is always a big plus for me. However, the glass was on the small size for the $14 price. It should have been $12. Also, they need to upgrade the glassware to a true martini glass.
The service was friendly and efficient. Now I want to go back soon and try some of the food.
