Fun atmosphere. Service was adequate at best. Bartender didn’t know which beers were on the menu & brought wrong drinks; then couldn’t figure out which tap matched our order. Burgers were dry.

Stopped for dinner on a Saturday night. We sat at the bar. This is a sports bar. There are four large flat-screen over the bar and other screens located all around. They have a vast selection of beers on tap, including some local craft beers. We ordered a wing platter, 16 wings. I had mine with Old Bay dry seasoning and my wife tried Honey Siracha. First of all, the wings are huge! They were cooked properly and really hit the spot. Saturday night is College Football night, so each screen had football. Service was friendly and pretty good as well.

After hearing positive things about this place in social media we stopped in for burgers on a Sunday afternoon… they weren’t busy when we got there and we sat at the bar. The bartender was helpful and friendly and gave us some suggestions. We each ordered a burger and they didn’t take very long to come out. I ordered mine medium and my wife ordered medium well, but they both came out close to well done and very dry. The burgers sure did look beautiful and impressive, but when we bit into them, the meat was dry and flavorless. The toppings were decent, but wasn’t enough to overcome the dryness of the meat. The bun was outstanding and toasted perfectly. The fries are crinkle cut and were pretty good as well.
As for the venue, it’s decent… more of a roadhouse type bar feel with open ceiling, cinderblock walls, and a musty smell. We’d return, but will probably try something else the next time.

Whiskey Tango – 6 came out and rocked the stage on Saturday. Great band, good tunes! Kept the audience engaged and jamming. Cool group of guys with fun personalities. Lead singer even jammed on the harmonica! Had some 70’s & 80’s rock music mixed in their set. Awesome night. Can’t wait to see the group again.
The staff at the Bearded Monkey were friendly and attentive. Cool place to chill!
Shout out to Book ‘Em for getting this group in to play and the Facebook invite.

Used to Love this place. Have been several times and have gotten takeout many times as well. Food was always great. Service meh…but good enough. Until just last week when FRAUDULENT CHARGES started appearing on my statement. We hadn’t been here for over a month so no clue what was going on. I had 2 fraudulent charges both over $100 appear on my statement within 2 days of each other. Still trying to understand what the heck is going on. Have my bank investigating. NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE AT ALL IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK NOW.

The Bearded Monkey is a decent venue to go watch your favorite sports team or sporting event with plenty of tvs sprawling every wall. When I visited, they had every NFL game on and a couple of duplicates at different angles. The place was clean and well kept. The bathrooms also were pretty clean and stocked well. The bar itself is pretty huge, spanning the entire legnth of the back wall, so plenty of room for the solo crowd. They do have a stage for bands to play for alternate entertainment.
The staff was very friendly, though I think they were a person short the day we visited, but service was still very good. The menu is pretty standard bar fare with a good variety of options to choose from priced reasonably well with generous portions.
For being a venue next to a hotel, it has a catchy name with good service and above average food on par with most sit-down restaurants for a reasonable price. Whether for a lunch bite or to cheer on your team, the Bearded Monkey is choice you should consider.

It’s a nearly hidden gem! Once you’re inside you’ll understand why. This is a real crowd pleaser with 2 separate/conjoined dining areas to accommodate large family/business gatherings or numerous sports junkies!
There’s great daily menu specials, a plethora of local craft brews and comfortable happy hour time slots. They have 4 pool tables, indoor corn hole, numerous pinball machines and other arcades to entertain.
The convenience for I-95 travelers is optimal as they are on the same property of a reasonable hotel.
I’ll be back, That oyster po-boy sammich special was on point!

Much improved on the old yackadoos.
A mix of a sports and family place. One side with a bar with big screen tvs and a stage for entertainment and the other side a big open room for pool and pinball and a golden t golf game.
They will listen if there’s something you aren’t happy with and will try to fix the problem. They are always trying to have different event nights for a wide variety of likes. Our favorite night however is karaoke nights which is family friendly. Sad though it’s the only night without any menu discounts 🙁
Our shout our to Megan who we always ask for as our waitress ! She rocks and we vote for her to be manager to make the place even more fun and efficient! It’s a great place any day of the week 🙂

Absolutely unacceptable management of food and drink timeliness. Currently pending fraud charges as they duplicated three different bills on two separate cards. Will never return I recommend anywhere else locally but this establishment.
