With a lack of dining options in the immediate area of our hotel, we decided on the Montana Club which seemed to have a decent menu (for a bar).
They’d just opened for the day (5pm) and were very patient and friendly with us out-of-towners.
Had a couple beers, a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and a plate of chicken strips with fries. They were bright red as they were breaded in crushed doritos/cheetos

Stopped by to eat and found out they do not serve food on Sundays. However they where very friendly and helpful and sent us to the bowling alley that does serve food on Sundays.

OMFG…$24.75 (and worth every penny!!!) for a truly awesome ribeye. Aaron did the most incredible job. Perfectly seasoned. Do yourself a favor and go to the Montana Club for your next meal. You won’t regret it!!!!

Friendly bartenders and owner. Steak salad was absolutely delicious! So glad someone told us about it. Such a fun place!!! If it wasn’t 1400 miles from home, I’d be there often! Must stop if you’re close by!

My kind of establishment. The bartender was nice and the manager/owner greeted me as soon as I sat down. They had a chilli cheese dog buffet for the Cat/Griz game and that’s all a man can really ask for. Cool place and I’d like to see them bring in local musicians and catch a show.

Although this not part of the Montana Club franchise, they have the best freshly made dinners in Shelby! It’s always tough to choose between a ribeye, pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, steak salad, and despite the fact that I am not normally a big fan of chicken, the chicken bacon ranch sandwich is also delicious with freshly roasted chicken! I also highly recommend starting off with the homemade mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and I can’t wait to try the homemade macaroni and cheese!
The bar opens at 2 but the kitchen doesn’t open until about 5. It’s well worth the wait!
