Shoutout to The Local Bread Company because they really understood the assignment. I grabbed their bourgeois pizza and it was everything you want in a pizza — crispy crust, loaded toppings, and the kind of bite that makes you pause for a second like “yeah… this was the right decision.”
But honestly, they deserve their flowers for something else too… they saved me at 2AM once.
True story: I DoorDashed a pizza AND a sandwich from Wailuku all the way to Kihei because when the late-night hunger hits, you start making bold life decisions. And when you realize they’re basically the only place open from 8PM to 1PM the next day, suddenly it makes perfect sense.
Listen… if you’ve ever ordered food from Wailuku to Kihei at 2 in the morning, just know you’re not alone. We’re all just doing our best out here.

This place is fantastic and fills a void that we have in central maui. I have been waaaaaaiiiiting for a good deli sandwich shop to open in Maui. You know, one with fresh ingredients and quality bread. IT’S HERE!! And the best part is… I can get a super delicious quality baguette sandwich with all the fixings for $7. WHAT?!! I want to come back everyday and make sure this shop sticks around. I recommend you do as well!!

Great place to go for a late night snack or dinner. I’ve gone as late as 2am before! The staff are friendly, and the food always taste amazing. I recommend the pepperoni sandwich but anything on the menu is worth the trip.
