Really small clean Resteraunt. Meals cooked to order. Our crew ordered Double bacon cheeseburger, single bbq burger, single burger ketchup and onion as well as a set of chicken wings. Food was hot and cooked perfectly. No real table service, order and pay at the counter and they bring to you cooked to order. We will go back!

Pretty nice experience. We agree with other reviewers that the staff is VERY friendly (kudos to our friendly order taker at the cash register), that the portions were generous, and that the atmosphere was a little spartan for a “Greek” restaurant.
We all had burger variations which were quite good. One of had gyro meat and it was delicious. I’m going to assume the Greek food would be good, too.
The restaurant has only been open about a month (July 2025?) so maybe that’s the reason for a lite Greek atmosphere. It’ll get better as time goes on. And it used to be a bank if you’re wondering what the building used to be. But it was very clean and orderly establishment.
Previous reviews sad it was warm. I asked about that and they said the A/C had been out. But it was working now, quite comfortable.
So you order at the counter and they bring you the food after it’s cooked to order. Didn’t take long but it was light on customers when we were there.
The only downside was that all of their plates were in to-go styrofoam boxes so a lot of waste. I hope they switch over to baskets and paper liners in the future to help lessen landfill trash.

I’ve eaten here twice. Both times was the family bundle. The first time the portions were very generous. This time I honestly feel I paid $38 for a tray of rice.. food is usually good and staff is amazing.. I don’t think I’d order the family bundle again.

This is the second time I have ordered from here. I got it to go and brought it home and both times it was wrong. I always ask for no peppers or onions and they always put them in. This time they gave me Greek salad instead of tabbouleh salad which I love! Disappointed!! I never have this problem at the one in Woodbury…. They are great!

We drove from Crossville to McMinnville and went to Golden Greek for lunch. The business is very clean. It is sorta like a cafe since you order at the counter and your food arrives in Styrofoam containers. This is common in Mcminnville. We had the Gyro plate with shrimp and the Shawarmma plate. Both were outstanding. The food surpasses the surroundings. I was amazed that the locals kept arriving to order burgers, when there is real food being offered. IF, this food were offered in Crossville on real plates, inside a properly decorated room, they could make a fortune.

Burgers were amazing! So good! Try the bacon cheese burger and you will not be disappointed! I ordered a kids gyro and fries for my child but it was only chopped gyro meat and fries which is fine but I didn’t expect that. I thought it would be a little pita gyro. I didn’t like the taziki sauce it was a little watery and tasted sort of like blue cheese. Restaurant was clean , good music, patio, decent amount of places to sit. I will visit again for sure!

I loved going to this restaurant at the Woodbury location and they had amazing food. Now we have a location in Mcminnville and its just as good. A great family runs this location, the Woodbury location and they have a pizza place in Woodbury called Golden Pizza with great food as well. Plus you can get swarama here which is the best ever.

My family had gyro sandwiches, chicken shawarma, mushroom Swiss burger, the golden burger, chicken tenders, fried mushrooms, walnut baklava, and tiramisu tonight. Everything was delicious! The food was packaged well (we ordered ours to-go), the gentleman who took our order was so kind and patient while we decided, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I really like the artwork, which includes a piece with a really positive message. There was music playing (country), but not too loud, which I really appreciate. We will be back to try more of this delicious food very soon! Welcome to Mcminnville, Golden Greek! We’re happy to have you!

Have visited this place a few times mid day looking for some fresh food and never disappointed. Portions are great for big appetites. Food is always fresh and tasty. One of the few places in town with a patio. The kids chicken was a big hit with the little one and the service was top notch. Super friendly staff. Super clean restaurant. Great food. Becoming one of my favorite spots.

We had a great lunch here at their new McMinville location. The young lady taking orders was so friendly and welcoming and we were even greeted by the chef when we came to the counter. The food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious, hot and fresh. It was a great lunch topped off by really friendly service which is such a rarely these days!
