“Sanders” restaurant closed and recently opened as Fairfield Family Diner. If my experience this evening is their M.O. ….I don’t think they’ll be around long. I’ll update and explain once Google changes the name.

This place has a wide variety of food in their menu- usually it’s a bad sign but they ace everything on it. Amazing quality food and service is phenomenal. Their Mexican street corn Hash is the best!! The birria tacos are also great! Fried foods aren’t oo greasy which is good. Definitely stop by, especially since it’s so close to Ski Liberty.

Returning home from a town yard sale I stopped here for lunch with a friend. To my luck it was Mexican on the special; the servings were large and the rice and beans were delicious. Overall it was a great day! Their ice cream looked good as well but I was stuffed from the lunch.

Super convenient location, love the variety of ice cream flavors. My boyfriend and I usually stop here 1-2x a month before watching the sunset by one of the ponds. Ice cream is wonderful, it makes up for the unpleasant red haired ice cream scooper at the window. Unfortunately, she is the most unfriendly service worker I have ever met- very rude, short, and blunt.
You know it’s bad when my bf and I squabble about who goes to the window bc we see that it is her who is working through the window. Would love to see her have a better attitude or have someone friendly working here!

We found Sanders by accident and are now regulars. The Mexican Street Corn Hash is the best breakfast I ever had. We love dinner as a family here because you can get delicious Mexican and Italian food so everyone in the family finds something they love. It’s inexpensive by today’s standards and the staff is as friendly as it gets. Go here and support local businesses and get great food!

This place was a pleasant surprise for us as we tried out their breakfast tacos and also the nachos, both were very good. The service was fast and friendly, prices are in line with the good quality food they are putting out and the menu has a nice variety. We will definitely be back because the fajitas look absolutely amazing and my one friend said the Chicken Franchese was super good. It is not ice cream season yet but if it was I would not waste my review complaining about a 25 cent charge for and extra cone maybe consider making your own cone and see what that costs.

If your ever in the area stop by, I’ve been here twice while on vacation at liberty ski mountain, and I’ve been here 3 days. Their chicken enchiladas are to die for. The best chicken enchiladas I’ve ever had. The downsides about this place are no alcohol, and there is only 1 waiter so it’s a little slow, although there was only 1 other party with us. But I totally recommend if you want a good cheap meal.

We visited recently and just learned that the restaurant has changed owners. This is our go-to place for ice cream. We really loved this place back when Jose worked the ice cream window. He was friendly, pleasant and always had a smile on his face. Now, the new people are not very friendly. No pleasantries exchanged. On top of that, they now charge $0.25 extra for a cone. I don’t mind the charge but I wish I was told. If you can’t be bothered to tell your customers, put up a sign to inform people. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

This is not Mexican anymore. Thank goodness. Fairfield needed this kind of restaurant again. The Mexican did not do good at all.
