Extremely LOUD. Lunch time on a Friday and the music was near 80dB… be sure to request a turn down if you want to talk with some, they are happy to accommodate. For what it worth: Fighter Jets at Luke fly over at 82bB, hearing protection is recommended above 80dB. Loud music ( especially live) is common on weekend evenings ~ lunch on a week day, not so much.
Food was good, we had chicken and BBQ. Sides were okay (slaw and potato salad). Potatoes could have been cooked longer, they were hard.
Resturant was clean, but did not smell like food when we entered; smelled like horses. Interesting.
Over all an okay experience.

Wow, I just had the “Best Wagyu Short Ribs ever !” This place has fresh Sushi on the weekends. Fresh baked breads and desserts and Wagyu burgers! But, for dinner tonight I tried the Short Ribs, my gosh what a culinary delight. House made, “Mango-Habanero BBQ sauce,” hand mashed potatoes and Wagyu Beef. Amazing!!! Great job and hats off to Brian and Redbear for all the great recipes.

Everything we ordered was excellent. The Fish & Chips were perfectly crispy, and the Verde Wagyu Burger was juicy and full of flavor on a fresh house-made bun. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich had just the right amount of heat, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were a great side.
We also enjoyed a Margarita pizza and finished with a well-made Bourbon Old Fashioned and Homemade Margarita. Friendly staff, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, definitely coming back!

Don’t underestimate a thing about this place, and if you’re within a 20 mile radius, stop and get your meal here!
Meats are farm to table, and you can taste it in the chicken tenders. They have the best fried fish I’ve had in AZ, perfectly crisp but tender filets without being oily. I had a big group and we also really enjoyed the unique pizza combos and classic ribs.
My pizza got burnt so while they remade it, the staff kept us entertained with dad jokes, perfectly seasoned jojos, and a sweet treat. Planning on driving from Phoenix at least once a month for the food and good vibes.
And they have gluten free options!

Such a great new spot! Not fancy, just a great local spot with great drinks and food, for reasonable prices! Friday and Saturday we’ll definitely be stopping in for awesome sushi! We got the Cowgirl roll (which was gone before I thought to take a picture, it was so good!) and the Caterpillar Roll (pictured). Drinks were tasty, and so reasonably priced! Can’t wait to go back and try the wings, we heard they are awesome.

Had to add more photos, and again rave about how much we LOVE this place! It’s like “Cheers” in AZ! RedBeard is awesome, always welcoming and greets you with a smile & warm heart!

Wow. I don’t often give reviews, but the food here was extraordinary. The best food I have had in a long long while. Even the side dishes were incredible. Usually, when I get potato salad or coleslaw at a restaurant, I sample it, and don’t touch it again, never any good. At this place, the side dishes – potato salad, coleslaw, and fries – could have been main courses themselves. This guy is a culinary magician. If only all restaurants could taste like this. Well done!

It’s not much to look at, but I’ve found places like this have the best food. And it absolutely does!
The mains we ordered (fish and chips, pulled pork and chicken strips) were outstanding! The batter they use on the fish and chicken is perfectly spiced and super crunchy. I normally pick half of it off (which I did), but it was sooo good I ended up eating it rather than leaving it on the plate. My husband said the pulled pork was very good too.
Their sides are freshly homemade, and absolutely delicious. The potato wedges are HUGE, and once again, spiced perfectly. The potato salad was nice and creamy, with the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. And we both got a few homemade pickles on our plates, which my husband described as “addictive”. If you’re hungry and happen to be anywhere near here, you’ll be very glad you chose the Outpost!

Stopped here after the Montezuma Well hike and we were so glad we did! We had the Margherita pizza which was delicious. The barkeep surprised us with a bowl of free homemade chili which was out of this world yum! Fun atmosphere. Will stop again!

My family and friend’s family stopped on a whim after taking a day trip from the Grand Canyon. We read reviews online- and thought thought that the food was up our alley. We are are so glad that we stopped! Between all of us we sampled many dishes- and they were beyond excellent! Staff was friendly and was great to talk to! Please stop if you get a chance and check them out!
