Today, wd went to celebrate the birthday of my wife with my son who turning 27years old son.
Madame told me about the difficulties they faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. It seems that they had a very hard time, but they overcame them and has been in business for a total of 38 years since the previous restaurant.
The food is still as delicious as ever, the atmosphere is homey and wonderful, and above all, Madame’s hospitality has not changed at all since 30 years ago, and we had a very precious times.
I was very impressed by this connection.
It was an unforgettable dinner.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude.
The seasonings were light in a good way, and the food was very delicious! Even I, who has a weak stomach, found it very easy to eat.
Personally, the sea urchin plange and lobster were the best!
The service from the husband and wife team was very natural and the atmosphere was peaceful. It was a cozy space.
The customer sitting next to me was celebrating their birthday, and the chef himself played Happy Birthday on the piano, which was a wonderful touch!
I’ll definitely visit again ^_^
The portions are very filling. The portions may be a little too much, but I think it’s good old-fashioned French cuisine.
I think the price is reasonable considering what you get.
Every dish was amazing!
The tableware was lovely and the food was beautiful. We had an incredibly enjoyable time. The wine was also delicious and went perfectly with the food!
I’d definitely like to come back for another meal! I’m so glad I got to see my father so happy.
Thank you so much.
I came all the way to Kyoto for the first time in a while in search of delicious foie gras, but the sudden congratulatory piano call from the owner (lol) and the gentle hospitality of the madam made for a very enjoyable dinner.
Of course, the food was delicious, too! I’ll definitely visit again.
The restaurant is clean, and the owner’s wife welcomed us with a friendly and courteous attitude, showing their thoughtful hospitality.
We had dinner here this time, and although it seems like a popular restaurant, everything was delicious, unfortunately the sea urchin chawanmushi and lobster dishes were a bit too strong.
We visited for an everyday meal, but I think it would be perfect for a slightly more stylish meal on an anniversary or some such occasion.
The restaurant and service were friendly, and the food was delicious, but some of the dishes were a little strong so I gave it a rating of 4 stars.
Even though it was my first time there, the chef kindly sang me a birthday song accompanied by piano, which I was very touched by.
Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. The timing of the food being brought out was perfect, and it was hard to believe that he was working with Madame, as he handled the job so efficiently. Thank you very much.
The atmosphere is simply comfortable. It’s not too formal, and while it has a dignified feel, it also has a warm, homey vibe.
The dishes that come out one after the other have flavors you wouldn’t imagine without looking at the menu, and they’re all delicious. It’s like a jack-in-the-box experience, and you’re overwhelmed by the variety of vegetables used in the dishes, which makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
This is truly a restaurant that delights all five senses.
Oh, and the service provided by the chef’s wife is also fantastic.
It’s a restaurant I’d definitely like to return to.
I didn’t want to leave my smartphone on the table, so I can’t show you any photos of the food!!
