The pretzel is served nice and warm and is stuffed with a creme cheese filling that is a little on the sweet side which is very nice. It wasn’t overly filled and I thought it was just the right amount of cream cheese to pretzel dough ratio.
I will say that because the pretzel is stuffed, there is a chance that your pretzel in places may be overly saturated and lead to a mushier almost raw dough consistency which woman put some people off – just FYI.
I on the other hand will probably get this again when I need a snack in Magic Kingdom.
The Sticky Bubble Bread on the other hand I was dissapointed with. Not sure if it was because of how long I waited to eat it or not but the dough was kind of on the stale side and lacked the soft monkey bread dough I was looking for. There was a ton of caramel on top, maybe too much, and I felt it was just trying to mask the sad dough texture. This is one treat that I will be skipping my next trip.
The menu is straightforward but satisfying, featuring classic American favorites. Among the most popular items are the loaded hot dogs, which come with a variety of toppings such as chili-cheese or pulled pork and coleslaw. Pretzels, both savory and sweet, are also a staple, with the Mickey-shaped pretzel being a favorite among kids and adults alike. For a lighter snack, the Lunching Pad offers a selection of refreshing beverages, including frozen lemonades and soft drinks, perfect for cooling down on a hot Florida day.
While the food at the Lunching Pad may not be gourmet, it excels in providing tasty, quick options that allow guests to refuel without spending too much time away from the park’s attractions. The seating area offers a decent amount of shade and people-watching opportunities, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. In summary, the Lunching Pad is a reliable choice for those seeking fast, enjoyable food during their magical day at Disney World.
Variety of food is limited
The item we wanted from here was the Micky Pretzel. That was the only thing we wanted, so we didn’t have any issue with their limited offering.
The pretzel was a pretty good size, not too large not small. And most of all, super cute!!! It came with cheese dip, but they have all the condiments like mustard nearby if you want other options. It was warm, fluffy, chewy and tasty! The cheese dip added additional substance to it, so it was a bit more filling than I thought. Yes, the price might be a bit on the high end, but then again, this is Disney World…
The fresco cheese dog was layered with cheese, cheese sauce, sweet relish, and a large hot dog. Because of how much is on it, the bug broke upon first bite. I remember when eating, to eat it over the container or use a fork and lots of napkins.
