Hattie Faye said: Ice-cream was very, very, really good and my cheese burger was OK.
Ada says: The food was really good, ice cream was delicious! However, they gave me my ice cream before my food! I would add that server did her job but didn’t make us feel overly welcome.
Evvy adds: The food was Really good, I love the fries! The ice cream was pretty melted and runny.
Grandpa says: I thought it was nice. Perfect place to take the girls after their dance recital.
The restroom was clean but “freezing” according to Ada.
There was a nice Christmas tree up and the smaller than average dinning area had a cozy feel.

Came through the drive thru tonight and ordered 2 medium blizzards. When we pulled up the guy at the window clarified asking if they were smalls. That did not bother us we just told him they were mediums and they went and made them. When he handed the blizzards “they weren’t flipped over” which I figure is for show anyways. Well they were not only double cupped but they were leaking with wet napkins around them. The blizzards were the equivalent of melted ice cream that has been sitting out in the sun…. They were at that rate not even scoop-able by a spoon.. a straw was more efficient. Aside from that they were over flowing all over the car and dripping everywhere. We would have handed them back had we realized this 2 seconds earlier – however they took a long time to begin with and the line behind us was long so we did not want to be a bother… not ruling you out Dairy Queen but my goodness please do better for the sake of our car interiors. (I wish we had the photo aftermath of the car but it was dark and our hands were sticky)

Coming from Germany, I usually have to stick to McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC when it comes to classic fast food chains. The cheeseburger and fries I had at this Dairy Queen yesterday, were superior in taste compared to what I get at home. Moreover, the service was very friendly.

I worked here years ago, so I’m biased- but things have really gone South. Today I got a chicken strip basket, the one item on the menu that had to be cooked fresh.. Got a 4 piece of chicken so thin there was more breading than chicken. The gravy looked like something that was left on the stove for three days – it’s simple to make and takes less than 3 minutes by the store standards. But what I got was a container that almost fell apart from being in a “holding drawer” which is a heated drawer that made the lid, and containing cup(plastic lid and Styrofoam cup) solid, and brittle to the point of shattering. You could still see the layers of gravy from how it was pumped out of the the warmer it’s kept in. I know the standards this place should be following so basically day old gravy not even close to reheated, or up to food safe (not up to temp, the container was half melted, and the gravy was still cold-i know full well the store rule is to pump all the leftover gravy from the previous night into cups for the next day) standards.

So basically I got to eat some fries that weren’t half bad, and threw away the rest of my lunch that I just paid $8 bucks for and tossed.

I wouldn’t be so harsh, but the other three locations I go to follow DQ standards- the location on Franklin still thinks they can cut all the corners, and charge the same price for “fresh” food.

The employees were actually very nice, and I can’t fault them in any way. Whoever is working the grill needs slapped.

If you haven’t been to this location parking is a mess, and the drive thru is near impossible to get into if there are cars in the parking lot. If you’re willing to risk your health to this place; be willing to risk a minor fender bender getting into the parking lot.

I visited the Dairy Queen on the corner of Franklin and Curtis around 11:00 in the morning. Most of the business was going through the drive-thru as lunch time was nearing. I ate in the dining room and was completely alone.

The young man who waited on me was friendly and when I commented that I needed to sit away from the overhead music he said oh it’s too loud and he went and turned it down without my asking. Really excellent on his part and much appreciated.

I was really pleased that when I received my food the french fries were hot and not too salty and the double patty hamburger was hot as well.

I do wish Dairy Queen had Diet Dr Pepper. They offer Dr Pepper with sugar. They have Diet Pepsi but I hate Diet Pepsi.

Dropped by for ice cream at 8:50pm (over an hour before they close) and they said we couldn’t order because they were cleaning the machines already. Should not be doing closing duties that impede or ding items in the menu far before the restaurant is closed. Losing money and terrible service.

Why do they ask for a tip? What service do they provide? It’s fast food. But just a heads up, if you don’t tip they will be rude and act entitled .

Very disappointed with my experience at this location today. There was no acknowledgement from the staff when my girlfriend and I walked through the door. Once we approached the register to place our order the employee said no words to us and just took our order. The food came out in a decent time my girlfriends cheeseburger seemed to be microwaved it was boiling hot even the pickles were steaming it just didn’t seem fresh at all. Once leaving the store after our meal there was no acknowledgement from the staff again. Sadly to say due to this experience will not be returning to this location again.

The drive through is shown to close precisely at 9:00 PM. I arrived at my place in line at precisely 8:37 PM and waited my turn. At no point did an employee come out and say anything to me or any of the people who arrived shortly after me. When I finally arrived at the order thingy, it was precisely 9:03PM (so I had already waited for 26 minutes) and was told I could return anytime the following day after 10:30 am ….. nicely done guys. Couldn’t have been less considerate if you had been given training on how- cuz with all the training in customer service provided, you didn’t retain one sliver of skill.
