Small Mexican restaurant with a friendly service. The tacos and gorditas looked and tasted authentic. They didn’t have the horchata we asked for and the jamaica didn’t taste like the real thing, more like a fizzy cranberry juice. The AC was dripping on our table. Good enough place though for a quick bite.

Rude staff from the front of house, the cashier, the manager and the chef. The cashier was wrapping silverware right on a dirty counter with her bare hands as she reached for other things. The chef made my tacos with chicken and cheese only and I was asked to pay $3 dollars for each additional topping. Rude and dirty

The guacamole not homemade and it was harrible did not taste like anything beside they give you like spoon for $9 and the nachos chips were just scraps. The tocos were ok yet what the other orders were not what we asked for!!The list goes on …

Being of Mexican decent I am very proud of the fact that our food is world renounced. Yet, I am compelled to only give a 1 1/2 stars. I first ordered a torta, which is a staple in every Mexican restaurant. I was told they dont make them. Ok then I ordered tacos al pastor and was given mostly carnitas meat. As I know the difference and style of cooking for the two. I feel that I was not only deceived. To the owners of the establishment please correct your style of cooking. one disappoint is more than enough.

Best Mexican around. For appetizers my wife had the sopes and I had the Oaxaqueños tamales. Both were cooked perfectly and the flavors nicely balanced. My wife had a carnitas dish for her main course that was a mix of seasonings and pineapple. The pork shoulder was a little dry for my tastes, but it was not bad. I had the steak norteños which was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and nicely seasoned. The sides of refried beans were the best ever. At most Mexican restaurants, the refried beans are an afterthought and often have the consistency of wall paste. These were creamy and not all overseasoned. Nor were the smothered in cheese or cream.
Dinner for two with appetizers and dessert will cost about $30 per person before tip. The restaurant in BYOB and there is a liquor store a block away if you did not bring your own bottle.

Burrito was awful, lack of flavor, food was poor quality. I was a bit surprised because all of the other reviews were great…maybe it was just the burrito. The guacamole was the worst I’ve ever had, very “soupy”. Won’t be going back
