I took my wife here on our honeymoon. It is a quaint little bar that was full of locals who were friendly to us. While not perfect, the burgers and fries hit the spot after a long drive and I would suggest this place if you feel like pub food and are in need of a rest. They have a 1 lb burger called “the barge” that will fill you up! The prices are also an exceptional value.

Wonderful food and service even though they had a private event. We enjoyed the bacon Cheeseburger with onion rings and a pork tenderloin sandwich with jalapeno poppers. I will definitely be going back!

We had great service and the food was so good! The place was over half full, which I thought was pretty good for a middle of the week night. Several large TV screens to watch. We would definitely like to come back and try their Friday night buffet.

Nice small town restaurant and bar. Friendly and attractive staff and the Friday night Fish and Chicken Buffet was fantastic. It was a perfect top off for our exploration of beautiful Northeast Iowa.

Cool little place! We spent the day fishing on the mighty mississippi river pool 9 and needed some good food. We found it! Steaks, burgers, tenderloin sandwiches take your pick. Great service.
