Service has always phenomenal at every Texas Roadhouse I’ve visited and this place is no exception.

Wait time to be seated was very quick. The host and our waiter were extremely kind and friendly.

Wait time for our food was a little long, but this place just recently open so a little grace should be given to the staff since otherwise the whole experience was enjoyable. The manager gave one of my table mates a complimentary prime rib since his order got a bit mixed up which was awesome!

We all got steaks and I still believe this place is the best bang for your buck when it comes to really tasty steaks.

We definitely will be returning!

Keep The Faith! No, not church talk…. Faith, the fabulous, fantastic, friendly waitress who provides passionate and compassionate hospitality to all her patrons! Super sharp and super smart you will get the 5 star service every time. You can tell she is really into the job because she enjoys helping people. Faith, you’re going to be an awesome nurse someday helping patients and caregivers by giving hope in every situation. And Hope is more powerful than the medicine! (And sorry for chewing your ear about life while you were super busy! We like to get to know our servers as much as we possible in a short time. We’ve been foodies for over 50 years, together!)

But let me get to the brand new Texas Roadhouse in Marlton NJ. Never been to one before because they were in Mercer, Gloucester and Bucks County so we never drove that far.

Let me tell you…. they are major competition for steakhouses in the area. I’m talking to you Outback! (Sorry Ralph). The quality, price, service and ambiance is all there.

Let’s talk food. The 8oz filet for under $30 can’t be beat. The 16oz prime rib although a bit on the chewy side has awesome flavor with the au jus. Warning – only get the loaded sweet potato if you like marshmallows. Butter and cinnamon would do me fine. The side of mushrooms are very tasty too. We both got Caesar salad and while scrumptious the lettuce is soaked in the dressing. A little cutback here is warranted.

The place was packed on a Friday when they opened at 3 pm. Suggest you get on their waitlist before you get there. Then when walking up to the door let them know you’re there. It’s easy on the phone.

There is a tremendous team of staff, all friendly and all hard working.

One note. The booth for 2 is a little tight and the bucket on the table takes up valuable space. We navigated well through.

My wife said we just found our go to spot.

Thank you Texas Roadhouse!

Was excited to try based on some coworker recommendations. Was okay.

Free cinnamon butter with table rolls were great. Fluffy, fresh and warm.

Had the cactus blossom and sampler for apps. Felt it was cooked really well. Twisted mozz and snakebites were very delicate. Had the a thin fried shell that just fell apart when you picked one up. Pickle chips were probably my favorite though. All that and the cactus bloom was probably too much oil for me.

Had 2 combo platters. Shrimp was nice, but the rest of the stuff was just okay. I heard the steaks were basted in bacon fat or something so I had the onions and mushrooms on the side to taste the flavor of the meat. Got one medium as server recommend, and one medium rare. Medium was too tough. Pretty bland and dry. Medium rare was alright, but if you’re not savoring the flavor of just the steak, it could get a bit monotonous.

Green beans were okay.

Mashed potatoes were okay too, except the bacon bits were bad. I don’t know if it’s because everything was served a little bit.. cold? I think maybe everything was cooked and ready except maybe the shrimp or something so we got the food after it sat for a bit. But the bacon bits were like rubber. Hard and tough. Was bad.

Chili was alright, less than anticipated to be called a ‘bowl’ for the small upcharge.

Mac and cheese was.. also alright.

The tropical breeze and raspberry fizz were… Also okay. I probably wouldn’t get them stand alone but it helped to cut through the grease of the apps.

Best thing I think were the apps. Maybe it’s because they were hot and fresh. I’m guessing I had a one off mediocre experience.

Parkings a bit difficult nearby. I parked I the theatre lot but it’s a little worrisome that they have their own gate to close it off.

Glad I tried it, but I feel like it’s not something I’d go back to.

Also I noticed theres an early bird special despite it not being possible at this location. The special is for Mon-thurs before 5:30, despite this location not being open before 6 Mon-Thurs.

It was more or less accurate experience and quality for the price point, but two main things.

The sheer volume of staff and movement combined with the walkway paths and noise and being very busy did make it seem a bit like a factory experience. Which isnt completely their fault but… it is a thing. A bit transactional.

Also, as seen in the picture, they only got grill marks on one side. Pretty sure thats not to spec. Related to the above, I guess. This wouldnt be as big of a deal, but it did contribute to the steak not being quite cooked enough from that direction. Im guessing its more volume than the equipment can handle but who knows.

This new location is firing on all cylinders, Jordan was a fantastic server and service was tight! Well done.

Steak and ribs cooked to perfection, along with delicious side items.

Of course it’s busy – it’s a TXRH, and there aren’t many… Use online check in, it’s fantastic!

This location is fantastic, especially given the popularity since they opened! Getting on the waitlist ahead of time was clutch! Our waitress, Samantha, was very attentive and precise with our orders which came out perfectly. The food was delicious, and the overall environment was fantastic! I love seeing the camaraderie amongst the staff who helped us celebrate my son‘s 14th birthday in such a fun way! The staff manager came by to make sure everything was going well too. Great job Texas Roadhouse, see you again soon!
