We are a new, family-owned restaurant in Downtown San Jose where you’ll find the best artisanal empanadas in the Bay Area. We have flavors for all tastes with 15 different savory and sweet fillings. Our unique and most popular savory empanadas are Mole and Tinga. For our vegetarian customers, we have delicious options like Spinach with Cheese and mushrooms with Cheese empanadas, and you can never go wrong with Sausage with Cheese or Hawaiian empanadas. The most famous sweet empanadas are Nutella, Apple, and Rice pudding, but all of them are great desserts or quick, rewarding treats. We also have refreshing smoothies and Italian sodas to help you cool off during hot days and hot coffee and tea to warm you up in the mornings.

Feels like a pop up.
I tried two savory, and their only salad. And I suggest you bring your favorite salad with you to accompany their empanadas.
Tinga and spinach+potato empanadas were delicious, baked milhojas, not traditional dough.
Good lunch stop.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now, and they’ve always been so, so good! Their mole empanada is legitimately the *best* mole I have ever had! Everything they make is absolutely fantastic, but I don’t think I will ever get enough of the mole!! Love coming here, such nice and friendly people

Great selection of empanadas – both savory and sweet. We had the chicken tinga and chorizo with egg. The sauce on side has a spicy kick. They also made fresh horchata, very nice.

My partner and I tried like half the empanadas menu in one night and nearly all of them were amazing! We started with the mole, tinga, mushroom, and beef (in order of deliciousness) and were so impressed by the crust and fillings that we returned an hour later to order dessert, the clear winners being the guava & cream cheese empanada, horchata (deliciously coconutty?!), and oreo-filled shake. Their staff was also friendly and helpful, what a gem to find on our visit to San Jose 🙂

Tried the cochinita pibil and the mole empanadas, both were outstanding, super flaky crust and delicious filling. Also got the rice pudding sweet empanada for dessert, equally fantastic!

Seriously good empanadas! I had the mole, tinga, and pumpkin, all were great. Definitely recommend the pumpkin for a sweet treat. And the red sauce is fire with the tinga empanada. Highly recommend.

This place is so good. So good! I took a couple of friends here on a whim, and we tried and shared a variety of empanadas, and got a few cups of coffee, and were made immensely happy by how good they all were.
I can personally recommend the chicken mole, the cochinita pibil, the beef and potato, and the Nutella, as I tried a bit of each of these.
We spent the whole weekend we were near by thinking about going back, but not quite managing it. Literally, we agreed our one regret was not going back to try more. We’ll for sure hit them up again next year. :9

Came on a Tuesday lunch, great spot with plenty of seating outdoors and indoors. Clean establishment and great selection of items. Cochinita pibil was on point as well as the tinga which I have ate both in taco and tastada formats. The Nutella and chocolate empanada is a good treat.

Awesome vegetarian empanadas! We ordered the spinach, rajas, and plain cheese flavors. They go well with the sauces, the red one is nice and spicy!

Super nice staff. Sadly the empanadas although warm were flavorless. The cochinita pibil had no flavor or sauce, the beef with potato was also blah and flavorless. The mole was too sweet. I would t order empanadas here again.
