We went today 2/10/2026 and had cappuccinos. My wife got a s’more cookie and I got a cream puff. It was all good. My cappuccino came very hot. The inside of the coffee shop is very nice. Plenty of seating. Several young people were working on their computers at the different tables. The menu is on a board behind the counter. I recommend going and giving them a try.

I went here during the soft opening, and was impressed with how aesthetic the coffee shop is. The cups and packaging are cool. The Viet Phin coffee was 10/10. The Ube cheesecake was 9/10. The pandan waffle was 10/10. The staff are also friendly. The vibes? 10/10. Plus, it’s across the street from a used bookstore. I will be going back. ☕️

UPDATE:
I came back alone on a Tuesday; and it was so calm. People were quietly working on laptops, French music played, and every staff member was super friendly. I had the strawberry-matcha latte, and the strawberry-matcha croffle. I enjoyed both highly.

A Rare Taste of Authentic Vietnamese Coffee.

Phinesso is a true gem in the city, offering something genuinely hard to find: authentic Vietnamese coffee. For anyone tired of the standard coffee shop fare, this spot is highly recommended and an absolute must-try.

The coffee itself is excellent. It’s rich, flavorful, and, crucially, customizable to your preference. Whether you desire a deep, bitter kick, a delightfully salty finish, or something traditionally sweet, they can tailor it perfectly. Given the high quality and the rarity of the product, the pricing is remarkably reasonable, making it an affordable treat.

While the coffee experience is top-notch, potential visitors should note that the physical space is quite small. It often doesn’t have enough seating to accommodate all guests, so be prepared to grab your drink to go, especially during peak hours. However, the quality of the drink more than makes up for the tight seating.

In summary, if you are seeking genuine, delicious Vietnamese coffee that is worth going out of your way for, look no further than Phinesso. It’s a highly recommended experience.

The coffee was great! I asked for something sweet and ended up getting the marble iced coffee, which was exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere and service were on point, and I didn’t have to wait long at all. Overall, it was a really good experience.

For a valentines treat my husband and I decided to try a new coffee shop. This place was vibrant very welcoming and it’s definitely the perfect place to hang out. Have coffee and do a little work as well. It was so beautiful. The service was wonderful. We were actually served by Sydney and she was so friendly so kind and she explained the menu to us in detail. We would definitely come again thank you for the awesome experience.

My husband had a caramel macchiato
And I had a cappuccino they were both amazing truly the best ❤️

I visited on a Sunday morning, and I was immediately impressed by the warm welcome from the entire staff. The barista was not only kind but also patient, taking the time to guide my friend and me through the menu options. I opted for a matcha latte, while my friend chose a Vietnamese coffee paired with a delicious waffle topped with strawberries (though it had a different name). We only had to wait 4-5 minutes for our drinks.

The matcha latte was fantastic! Every sip was delightful! My friend mentioned that their drink could use a bit more condensed milk, but they thoroughly enjoyed their drink and the waffle.

The overall atmosphere was clean and inviting. I was especially pleased to see one of the team members diligently cleaning and disinfecting the tables after each use, ensuring a safe environment. Just a heads up: the plants are real, and I did notice a few gnats flying around. It didn’t bother me much, but I can see how it might concern some guests.

Having read some negative reviews, I encourage others to consider visiting during off-peak hours and to be patient with this new establishment as they work to establish their routine. They’re still finding their groove, and a little grace goes a long way!

This place deserves all the hype. The iced salted coffee was the best drink we ordered, though I also loved the Viet Milk Phin Coffee. I do think typical US coffee drinkers should note that Vietnamese coffee is made with Robusta beans while the vast majority of coffee consumed in the US is Arabica. Don’t let the subtle difference in taste throw you, instead try to enjoy it as something new!

Phinesso Coffee House never disappoints! These drinks are pure happiness in a cup. The Egg Coffee is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with that ladyfinger on top. The Strawberry Cream Slush is insanely good: thick, fruity, creamy, and those real strawberry swirls make every sip addictive. Presentation is always 10/10, staff are super friendly, and the vibe inside is cozy and modern. Easily one of the best coffee spots in town. Already craving my next visit! Highly recommend! ❤️☕

I’m really glad this place opened up! I absolutely love Vietnamese coffee, and this café did not disappoint.

I ordered the egg coffee and it was heavenly. The egg cream was silky and rich, and the coffee underneath was strong and incredibly flavorful.

I also tried the strawberry cheesecake croffle. It was amazing. The croffle was fluffy yet perfectly crispy, the cheesecake cream wasn’t overly sweet, and the fresh strawberries balanced the richness beautifully.

My sister got the Sugarcane drink, and you can immediately taste how fresh it is.

Their peach fruit tea completely surprised me! Very peachy!! And the strong black tea kept it from being too sweet. I was blown away by how good it was!!

And of course we had to get the classic Viet Milk Phin Coffee. Very strong, very bold, and the condensed milk ties it all together perfectly.

The vibe is great too. Modern, clean, lots of space, plenty of seating. Staff was really friendly.

Overall, I’m excited about this place and really hope they do well. I want to try everything on the menu!! I’ll definitely be back!
