If you’re looking for a spot that hits every single mark, Mardi’s XO it is. I’m still thinking about the meal I had here!
The food across the board was absolutely delicious, but there were a few standouts that stole the show:
* Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich: Crispy, juicy, and the perfect balance of heat and sweet. It’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had.
* Hush Puppies: These were golden-fried perfection. Dipping them in that delicious hot honey was a total game-changer—just amazing.
* Carrot Cake: Save room for dessert! This cake was literally out of this world. Moist, perfectly spiced, and the highlight of the night.
Great atmosphere and even better food. I’ll definitely be back soon!

So glad we happened to find this place yesterday for an unbelievable dinner of southern fried shrimp, chicken and amazing sides of coleslaw and mac and cheese. The complimentary hush puppies with dipping sauce are truly amazing melt in your mouth. And don’t forget to get the peach cobbler. Comfort food at its finest. Thank you Tearsa for making us feel welcome. We’ll see you and Delaine again soon.

As a girl from the south who has been in Mexico for 2 years, this is the best southern food I’ve had.The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is the perfect amount of spicy and seasoned. The fried fish is breaded with a cornmeal instead of flour and it makes it light and not too heavy. Their banana pudding is a great dessert without being too sweet. The sticky buns are really good as well. Authentically southern. Definitely a favorite in Rosaritio.

Great spot for southern food, highly recommend the hush puppies, shrimp po boy, coleslaw, potato salad, fried fish and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. For dessert i have gotten the peach cobbler multiple times and it’s always amazing. The staff is very professional and friendly, it feels like you went to eat at your southern aunties house!

We just had one of the best food experiences in Rosarito which is not easily found, all of the food is freshly prepared tasted very homemade everything that was supposed to be hot was and everything that was supposed to be cold was also, we were served a complementary, sweet tea, water and four Hush Puppies that were to die for. Needless to say, we will be back here again. Next Friday or Saturday when they are open, thanks again ladies, you did it a 100%.
