Loved this place! Wow!!! Debbie was absolutely amazing. She found out we were visiting from out of town so she drew us a map of the area with all of her recommendations. On top of that, the food was just great! Everything we had was devoured and you definitely need to save room for their famous apple pie!! I would come back here in a heartbeat if I’m ever in the area again. If you’re in the area, or just driving through, you have to stop here!

Based on my experience, I would assign this establishment a rating of 3.5 stars. The service appeared to be somewhat delayed, potentially due to understaffing and technical issues with charging machines. We also had to wait at least 10 minutes to be added to the seating list.
While the food quality was variable across the menu, the lemonade was notably homemade and had a pronounced lemon flavor. The crab cake special, which included a salad, was a particularly nice surprise.

As a local, I try to eat out and support small businesses as much as possible, which is why it is so disheartening to write this review, especially since she is a single female owned business running it all by herself.
I have been to this establishment many times and have always been served with a bit of an attitude by the owner but the food is adequate and the restaurant is one of the only Italian places near my house, so I have continued to go. However, this particular time we ordered take out. I went in to pick up our one cheese pizza, a side salad, and an appetizer expecting to pay 58 with an extra $10 to support locals as well as her hard work. The service was typical, expecting a grumpy attendant however when I went to give her the $10 she said to take it back because she already added a tip.
I was surprised that she added a tip already, as I dined out, especially one that is 20%. Why am I expected to tip when all she did was wrap the pizza in box. When I pay, I am paying for the food and when I tip, I am tipping for the service, yet she provided barely any service aside from snide remarks. Mandatory gratuity charges are usually only for big party members who may not tip. It is unethical to charge a gratuity without disclosing it and is actually illegal.
I paid over $59 for adequate food. This behavior is unacceptable and unlawful.
It is unfortunate that the atmosphere doesn’t give off a homey Italian feel, especially when the customers are treated as an irritant for simply dining and having a good time.

Beautiful spot on the river is just the beginning. The friendly home town service was the best I’ve experienced in a long time. The pizza was awesome and you’ve got to try their Cesar salad with homemade dressing. I’ll be a regular customer!

Wonderful food! It is a new restaurant so be patient as they grow. Everything is hand made, so reservations are recommended. The apple pie dessert is unreal! Highly recommend the spinach lasagna and the Cesar salad. Enjoy!

I called to ask if they was a long wait and the person who answered the phone was very condescending and rude to me, as if she never had been asked that question before in her entire life and treated me as if I was dumb for asking it. Well, I was really looking foward to eating some good Italian food, but now I will never know if they have good food because I am not going to go to a place just to get treated poorly for no absolutely reason. A little tip to Mama Mias, just try to be nice to people?

Outstanding meal! The spinach lasagna and meat lasagna were both really good. Dessert was outstanding – sizzling apple pie and then burnt chocolate chip cookie. Definitely worth the trip.

I really wish I had read reviews before ordering but you live and you learn, I guess! We got take-out… mistake #1. As someone who has worked in a nice restaurant, I am a sympathetic and generous tipper. They automatically add 20% gratuity for take-out orders that you cannot adjust! Not cool to underpay your employees and pass payroll onto the customer! I got the lasagna priced at $18. Another mistake, apparently. It was yummy which is why I gave more than one star but for the price? Absolutely bonkers. It came in a small to-go box (from the other reviews, it looks to be about half the size of the dine-in portion) and comes with one measly bland, dry breadstick. No salad/side and was definitely on the greasy side. The crab cakes – if you can call them that – were 2 for $24. They were crispy on the outside, but a soggy mess inside and practically devoid of crab. I feel robbed, tbh. The pizza seemed fairly priced but it tasted like school cafeteria pizza, and not in a good way. The crust was bland and undercooked/doughy in the middle. We will not be returning.
