BALTIMORE, MD (February 27, 2025) – Uncle Chen’s Chinese Restaurant has signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation for 3,781 square feet of space at Creekside Station, a 126,304 square foot lifestyle center in Winchester, Virginia. The restaurant plans to open this spring. This represents the first lease signed by CRC since the Baltimore-based commercial real estate and investment company acquired the center, located at 3103 Valley Avenue, in mid-August 2024. The asset is now 97 percent leased by nearly 50 service-oriented and specialty retailers, plus restaurants. CRC’s Kelsi Holman represented the landlord, and Betty Yang with United Real Estate represented the tenant in this transaction.

Tried this place today. Ordered take out. The inside looks very clean and the decor was nice. Sweet and sour chicken was exactly what I wanted. Black pepper steak was too chewy and the quality wasn’t matching the price point. The fried rice is okay, more bland than I was expecting. The General Tso’s was decent in flavor. Pan fried dumplings were also lacking in flavor.

Food was good. Ordered General Tso, chicken with vegetables, crab Rangoon, Vietnamese spring roll hot tea. The peanut sauce was a little thick with too much peanut butter in it. That was the only thing. We will be back to try other items.

This place is the real deal. Excellent customer service and food. Best things I tried were the scallion pancakes, steamed dumplings and bao. One of the only places with duck in the area too. Peking duck was amazing. This is a high quality restaurant not like most of the places in the area. Sushi was superb also. My 6 year old daughter and I both agree this is our new spot.

Just when our family was looking for a new Asian restaurant for sushi and takeout, Uncle Chen’s opened up and it is better than any other sushi we’ve had in the Winchester/Stephens City area! The place itself is clean and airy with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was kind and friendly with prompt service. The food was delicious. We ordered sushi and it was fresh and tasty. On top of all that the prices were not bad at all. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be coming back!

We ordered the shrimp tempura bento box, poke bowl and some rolls. Overall, it was good and worth the try. The poke sauce was flavorful and the fried tempura/gyoza/dumpling had a good filling and was light/crispy. The rolls were okay portions but a good try too. We’ll definitely come back when we have a sushi craving and to also try the other foods they have!
