Ponch’s is a great place to walk to and have a steamy hot americano on a Sunday morning! We pre-ordered the gluten free burrito for me (they don’t stock them in the cart). Hopefully they get their online system up and running but it was super easy to text the number on google and request it. My +1 got the regular bacon burrito. We both enjoyed the burritos immensely with the avocado crema. Service was super friendly and warm, and Ponch’s is a great atmosphere.

My only request would be that the burritos are a little warmer but I know that’s likely a function of them being pre-made and stored. The boiling hot coffee helped balance it out.

My favorite breakfast burrito in Bend! I always go with the Original (bacon) burrito but I’ve tried the steak, too. Both are delicious! The fresh salsas that come with the burrito are super tasty and flavorful, but do yourself a favor and spend the extra $1 on the avocado crema. The staff is always really nice and I love that they have a rewards punch card. This food cart pod has lots of great seating and tables, and a cozy fire pit. There’s a really good coffee stand right next to the burrito stand, too.

We were looking for breakfast while here for the weekend and love a good breakfast burrito. This is a stand outside of the coffee shop and seems to have a steady stream of customers. At first glance, the burritos seemed small for $10. But once trying them, they are very filling! The avocado cream for $1 is a delicious and was enough for both of our burritos. We also got some of their spiciest salsa and that tasted fresh with a good kick. It’s a good burrito, but there wasn’t too much bacon to be found and very very cheesy. I would have appreciated more other ingredients and less cheese, but srilla good burrito overall. The ingredients seemed fresh with a nice chewy tortilla.

I wish I would have read the reviews. I drove all the way across town for a hlorified gas station burrito. It was not cooked fresh. Sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. Was it cooked today? I dont know. My guess is—probably not. Texture is like velveeta and I honestly couldn’t tell you what was in it by tasting it. I could see the beans, egg, etc but it was just a gooey, slimy, mushy mess. Absolutely not worth the rating or the price. I couldn’t finish my burrito and threw half away. Off to somewhere else for real food.

Leaving this review from Indiana. Traveled out to Oregon 2 years ago and I regularly bring up this spot because it was hands down one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. Please stay open forever so I can come back.

Burritos are my favorite food, especially breakfast burritos. I loved the atmosphere and person that served me. Everything was perfect, but the burrito was sadly the worst I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot
Take eggs, some kind of runny cheese, bacon, then toss them in a blender and pour it in a tortilla. That’s how it felt (I know that’s not how it’s made). It was literally dripping goop as I ate it. Flavor wasn’t great and it didn’t sit well after. I hate wasting food and rarely do, but I tossed half of it.
Sad, because I loved the place and people.

I accidentally stumbled across their cart on its opening day, outside of The Commons a few summers ago, and have been a big fan ever since! I think my toddler and I have tried every item on the menu and our favorites are the cereal bars, made-from-scratch salsas, the chorizo and original burritos, and the banana bread muffins.

We follow the cart wherever it goes, plus recommend it for catering too!

I love a good neighborhood breakfast burrito and see this place as having so much potential with the super friendly people, casual and quick pickup, and overall vibe, but was quite disappointed by the actual burrito part. From the other reviews, there are clearly a mix of preferences out there; some love it, others hate it.

After giving two burritos a try (chorizo and original), both were similar in the fact that they’re a very soft scramble consistency (matched many of the photos and a couple other reviews). This is what I’m prepared for in a typical frozen microwave burrito, but not what I’m expecting from a $10+ one like this. I could only make it through half of one before stopping. The other half fried up in a pan ok the next day, but it was still hard to get past the mushy consistency.

From my own experience and preference, a soft scramble is wonderful with a nice piece of crispy toast, but does not belong in a burrito wrapped in an equally soft tortilla.

If you like that kind of burrito, you’ll love these. For my own preference, I cannot recommend and will not try again unless I hear of something changing.

These are pretty good breakfast burritos. The ingredients seem to be high quality, the flavors are good, and the portion size is reasonable for the $10 price tag. I’ve only had the original burrito, and it’s important to note that it is HEAVY on the cheese. I’m somebody who likes cheese, but I don’t LOVE it, so for me, the balance of flavors and textures in the burrito were too cheese-heavy for my tastes. I felt that it made things a bit too ooey-gooey and it overpowered all the other flavors.
