This place is great! Friendly service, great food and the price is good. There’s so much more here I need to try. We had crab cakes first, then salmon and my son had the catfish. Oh I also brought home blackberry cobbler for dessert. Worth going to, definitely!

Friendly staff from the get go and the fish is amazing. I walked in a little doubtful; but I was pleasantly surprised. They have real Cajun food in this here restaurant.

Try good fish. The portion size was good and the lunch price of $10.99 was more than fair. Will come again.

We made a reservation for 9 and were seated a few minutes prior to our reservation time, which was great! Most places struggle for any parties over 6 these days. Most dishes were very good! Especially the grilled catfish! The fried shrimp was quite overcooked but well presented (would be much juicier and harder to overcook if not butterflied). Service was friendly, just a tad slow out the kitchen, which is to be expected when you first open. I would suggest they nix some of the exotic items (frog legs, crab legs, and oysters) and focus in on the catfish, which again, was amazing. Not fishy or slimy at all. Very fresh. Atmosphere was well done inside and out. Very impressive overhaul of the building. Keep on rolling and it’ll be a five star in no time!

Danny, the owner came and visited with me several times, making me feel right at home and very welcome. Assured me the food was spectacular, and it was. Sunny the manager came and we talked for some time, again, felt right at home. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. Very quiet and I also talked with other patrons. Destiny, my server was an absolute delight. I took her suggestions and my grilled, blackened fish and grilled shrimp were perfection. I loved the dill tartar sauce, the pinto beans yummy. Also the honey glaze or sauce on the brussle sprouts, made my mouth water and go back for more. I visited the Pelican Seafood restaurant at 4 p.m and enjoyed my visit, the staff and bonus, excellent food. I will go back to try another menu item. I am excited to make their acquaintance. The love, was the special ingredient that made my visit and my food, cause for repeat business.

We stopped by around noon for lunch and almost didn’t go inside cuz there was a silly sign that had turned itself around to saying it was closed.
Note to owner: order a $30 open sign for window from Amazon.
We had the crab cakes which were lukewarm and cold after the second bite. The baked potato was also lukewarm and had to really eat it quickly . The fried catfish however was hot and tasty and if the rest of the meal had been heated to that temperature it would have been a five-star lunch. I did like the atmosphere it was peaceful not like my Texas Roadhouse latest experience where I couldn’t wait to leave due to all the noise.

This place is a treasure! The customer service is top tier! Everyone was friendly. The food was tasty, made to order, and absolutely delicious. My lemon pepper wings needed a dash more seasoning and the onion rings were bland. Therefore I gave 4 stars. The dessert is mouth watering. I had the peach cobbler. Great job Pelican!!

We tried Pelican for the first time on Father’s Day. The owner and waitstaff were very friendly and the food was delicious. They were a little short staffed but they apologized constantly for the wait. The catfish was nice and thick and very tasty. We were all very impressed with the food and our experience and we’ll definitely be making this a regular place to eat.

Above all things the server Jessica and the manager Sonny were Excellent and professional in service. We were served with nutritional meals meeting our health needs eliminating soy, dairy and wheat. The meal; shrimp, oysters, and fish with baked potato, Cole slaw, fried okra, were tasty. Along with hot tea and coffee. We were returning home from vacation, from our 50th anniversary. Way to close the week out.
Thank you
