I’ve been to a few sushi spots in Burlington and this is my favorite. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, with interesting takes on classic rolls. I tried the tuna taku roll, yellowtail jalepeno roll, yellowtail ume shisho roll and the salmon volcano roll. All were splendid, with the ume shisho roll being the standout – the addition of the japanese mint offered an herbal freshness that took it to another level. I highly recommend Bento!

I’ve been getting sushi here for over 4 years and it’s the best around. Their food is consistently high quality, and the amount of sushi you receive per roll is generous. The rice is perfectly cooked, and the fish matches that same standard. However, I would not only recommend this spot for its food, but also for the quality of service. Consistently kind and thoughtful staff. If you’re looking to get some lunch on your work break, or an evening meal to share with friends, this is the place to go. You will not regret it!

This place is awesome! We overheard while eating here that Bento is the only authentic Japanese sushi in the area. The rest are Chinese own, which is good to know. I had the scallop roll and the seaweed salad and they were both fantastic! Not overly sauced and very fresh. The best kind of sushi. They also have call ahead ordering which is super convenient on those rush days. We are from across the lake but know where to order now for our ferry snack.

So delicious! We ordered delivery to the Archives bar and it came within 25 min. We got two cooked maki rolls and a chicken rice bowl and it was all amazing! We will definitely order again when we are back in town. The woman who took our order was so polite and the woman who delivered our food was so kind!

After touring all Burlington has to offer in terms of sushi I can safely say Bento is the best sushi in the area, if not all of Vermont. If you get there at open you can watch the rice being made for the day. Rolls are made to order. Fish is always super fresh and bright. The staff are extremely friendly and truly value their customers. Outstanding knowledge of fish specials and rolls offered. Vegetarian rolls are delicious, and while there is not as an extensive of a menu as other places in the area, the selection to choose from make others look sub par. I eat here at least once a week and have yet to come up with a reason to go somewhere else.

Great food nice selection, really good prices, great portion sizes as well! This will definitely be a regular stop for me and I already sent it to a few of my friends.
Loved how Covid safe they are still being. This is a little detail but I actually really appreciated the packaging their food came in it was good quality and kept my food warm for the ride home with a few stops.
The only thing is you should pay attention when you are walking there your first time because it blends in to the other stores.

Best and most authentic Japanese cuisine around! I’ve been going here awhile and enjoy the new ownership especially with the added specials, menu, beer and sake. The rice is always key in many dishes and they make it perfect. Always a friendly face greeting you.
