The Chicago deep dish is a chef’s kiss too. Everything about it is class and tasty. I can’t wait to try the other flavors!
Service is super friendly, kind, and approachable!
The deep dish was also excellent. You can actually taste the quality. The owner didn’t have to tell me the sauce had been simmering since 6 AM for me to know it was scratch made. It was the best pizza and sauce we have ever had. Note about pic, we ordered light sauce due to dietary limitations; otherwise, it would have had twice the sauce. That sauce! So yummy.
The cookie was huge! It had the perfect chew, different chocolates and a little salt in the center. Perfect!
Service could not have been friendlier.
We drove from Cottage Grove to try this spot out based on a recommendation from someone who knows of our years long search for good pizza. It did not disappoint. Highly recommend!
From the first bite, you can tell they aren’t cutting any corners. The house-made Chicago butter crust is a standout—perfectly golden, beautifully flaky, and providing that iconic structural integrity you need for a true deep dish. We opted for the garlic butter finish, which added a savory depth that complemented the rich mozzarella blend perfectly.
But the real star of the show is the sauce. It’s a slow-cooked, Chicago-style masterpiece made with farm-to-table tomatoes that taste incredibly fresh. It’s robust, tangy, and layered with just the right amount of herbs and a generous dusting of Parmesan. You can really taste the “slow-cooked” quality; it lacks that metallic acidity of canned sauces and instead offers a rich, garden-fresh sweetness.
The ingredients are clearly top-tier, and the attention to detail—from the way the cheese pulls to the perfect bake on the crust—makes it clear that Anne and her team are passionate about the craft. If you want an authentic, soul-warming pizza experience that feels both gourmet and homemade, this is the spot.
Pro tip: Get the garlic butter crust—you won’t regret it! Five stars all the way!
Apparently my menu photos did not turn out.
Ordered a deep dish cheese on SLICE app for pickup. My daughter and I did the pickup and the young owner was great. I was impressed with his ability to be in a meeting with someone doing electrical work for him and greet us on our way in. His employee was also very nice. The pizza was 2 minutes away from being ready when we arrived so we ordered a few of the NY cheese slices to try.
It was fun to hear the story of “how they came to be” direct from him and learn more about their connection to local farmers and businesses like Camas Swale. No SYSCO HERE! Things that are really important to me.
It was my birthday and after some good conversation, the owner gave us a piece of the Thai basil pizza to try and a tshirt. Seriously so kind.
We didn’t eat till we got home so I didn’t get to tell him HOW MUCH WE LOVED THE PIZZA. My favorite, the deep dish. My husbands? The Thai basil and my kids loved the classic NY slices. It was such a great combo of flavors and I really liked the noticeable difference in sauces on the deep dish/NY.
They’ve earned a repeat customer and I can’t wait to go back again. Parking is street parking and he inquired to see how our experience was and then offered to carry the pizzas to the car. We were just around the corner and just had to do a few laps around the block to find a spot. I’m sure this level of customer service isn’t available when they’re busy but it was noticed and appreciated.
