I live in Georgia. However I came home and a family member took me to this soul food spot. This is like the third time eating from this spot. The food is beyond great. Today I decided to go and get a platter by myself. I got all the way home got comfy sat down turned Netflix on to find a movie. Prop my big toe up. Peggy’s Kitchen has the best food around to warm your spirits with their Caribbean and soul food. My first order was for a coworker and myself. Pork chops that were perfectly crispy around the edges, moist and tender on the inside. Baked Mac and cheese that was to die for! Cheesiest ever! Cabbage was cooked perfectly and the corn bread (with actual corn) was the Bonus!

I went there first time today…which I never been before…I spent 37.50 and got home and opened it…was salty very salty and didn’t even receive my sides at all….my first question I asked the lady who took my order…was the food good…I wasn’t trying to be smart but when it comes to food I need to know what I am putting in my mouth…the lady smart response was..nooo it’s very nasty…she wasn’t joking and should have taken that as a warning…I am so disappointed…I only received 10.00 from my total order back…never again

My husband and I went here for the first time today. I ordered curry goat, mac and cheese, and yams it also comes with white rice. It was delicious, fresh and plentiful. My husband had oxtails, greens and yams. It was tender and tasty. Our meals came with cornbread with real corn. Great food and great service. We will return when we are in the area.
