On a friend’s strong recommendation, I finally tried Subway, which I hadn’t had in ages. My impression of Subway was that it was always cold, hard, and just plain white meal, but this time the experience was surprisingly good.
Tuna Sandwich: Subway in the US doesn’t have salad egg fillings, so I had to order a pure tuna one (though the picture doesn’t really show what the filling is… my bad). The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside after toasting, and the vegetables added a nice contrast; the tuna wasn’t fishy or dry, and it was paired with extra cheddar cheese and pepper. The former added richness and flavor, while the latter removed any fishy taste and enhanced the aroma. Freshly made definitely tastes much better.
This place is in a small food court near Harvard Square; the shop isn’t big, and there’s only seating in the public area of the square, so takeout would be more convenient.

frequent this place for affordable luncheon. Very sweet and friendly customer service. Lately I am noticing that they are using the toaster sheets to wrap sandwiches. Not sure if I like that. Nope. Also agree with a previous posters note on portion. Subs are not risen and fluffy. Not sure if this message will help improve the quality of food.

I requested the employee to change their gloves because they were dealing with pork and I am Muslim and I do not eat pork. She refuse to change her gloves and still prep the order and toast the bread when I asked her to please remake it and change your gloves. She said you can go elsewhere because you are wasting food.

They are very friendly, but very stingy with the toppings. Also, instead of using the freshest vegetables in front of them, they intentionally take the ones that are close to being ready to throw away. They should care more about quality and less about pennypinching. That is what will keep people coming back.

The quality of ingredients they use aren’t fresh. Once I purchased oven roasted chicken subway and found the chicken was stale and black in color.
Sometimes they trick you with less meat or other ingredients to save more money. They mostly make fools out of the consumers. Never go to this outlet and waste your money !
