We’ve been dining in Ploi Thai on occasion pretty much since it opened and most often we value small family operated businesses over the larger outfits. Food is excellent, servers always polite and prices are very reasonable. Crispy duck prepared any way or thai basil dishes have usually been our favorites. Place tends not to be busy and we like to take our time when we come. Restaurant is quiet and feels comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been here a few times and I must say that the waiters have always been exceptionally friendly and the ambiance greatly exceeds that of the average Thai place. Eye-pleasing decor, sturdy tables, and clean. Prices are reasonable, and you can expect to receive your typical, quality Thai food here. Definitely recommend.

One of the few places in my neck of the woods with decent vegan options and I must say the food is delicious. I’m also a spice queen, and when I add directions to make the food “extra spicy”, I’m satisfied with what I get…not many restaurants seem to understand what that means. Very relaxing and clean Love to come solo or with the family.

This place is ok. I’ve had better. Their soups are good and the ambience is particularly lovely. We went in (just the 2 of us) with a Yelp deal of $20 for $40, however, i was disappointed to see the check with a mandatory gratuity of 15% and tax. I saw a reviewer on Yelp who went in with a Groupon deal and had the same experience. BEWARE!

I don’t even know where to start with this place. First off the noise level was no where near quiet. It was very noisy and i was not able to have a nice sit down dinner. After being seated for almost 10 minutes, I ended up getting menus on my own. Through the whole time i was there, 4 different waiters came by my table. I was given appetizers that another table ordered and when calling for a waiter, the girl gave me an attitude and plain ignored me! The food was somewhat flavorless. It took 15 minutes just to get a refill on my drink. The worst part of it all is when it was time to pay my bill, the total was twice the amount i anticipated it to be because they automatically added 18% gratuity and it was JUST four of us!!!! I ended up paying $25 in tips for getting little to no service. Just talking about this place makes me disgusted. I am a foodie and this by far is the WORST dining experience I ever had. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS PLACE.

This food is sooooo goood!. I am writing this after finishing my leftover Green curry that i brought to work for lunch. IIts my second time at Ploi Thai and I or my family has never been disappointed. It is clean and quiet which is surprising given how good the food is. If you have kids even better because its spacious and plus lots of parking on the weekends very close to the restaurant.

I had the opportunity to visit Ploi Rest. for both lunch and dinner a week apart, while on vacation. The shrimp dish at lunch was delicious and the jasmine rice was cooked just right. At dinner we enjoyed chicken curry and the veggies were fresh and crisp.
Also the staff were very sweet and made the whole Thai dining experience fun. I highly recommend Ploi either lunch or dinner.

We just moved here and I was so excited to have a thai place near by. Dined in once, the atmosphere is nice and the food satisfied my desire for thai food. Even ordered take out 2 times and the last time I did I ordered pad see iew, and I asked for chicken with that but they gave me beef (it comes with your choice of meat). When I called to tell them she was like “You said beef” and I said “nooo you asked me what I wanted and I told you chicken”. She doubted me at first and then apologize but I’m sorry does not give me the correct meal I paid $10.70 for. I worked at a restaurant for 7 years and if you mess up a customer’s order you make sure they are happy with your service the next time. They did nothing like that. Too bad they don’t work as hard on their customer service like they did decorating the inside of this place. Sure maybe it’s nice but don’t judge the service by how nice a place looks. You’re better off going to Wondee’s in Hackensack, NJ. They are a small place but they are ALWAYS friendly and the food is AMAZING not to mention $2-3 cheaper per dish than this place. They are always packed every time we go in there and that’s the only Thai place we’ll be going from now on!

Pretty big restaurant with a simple but extensive menu. The food is delicious, inexpensive, and the servings are generous. Service could be a bit better – our first course came out 7 minutes before the last one and we were only 3 ppl.

I stopped by for lunch and ordered one of their specials. The spring roll was oily the soup was blend and the pad thai with shrimp stink. On the top of that they charged me $2.00 for a glass of tap water. What are these people thinking!? Outrageous! Don’t waist your time and money to go there.
