It wasn’t that busy, and there were 3-4 servers or bartenders (i couldn’t tell if the one actually worked there, she kept stuffing her face with food and drinks and then would be behind the bar talking to the bartender, but it didn’t seem like she interacted with any customers). The waitress didn’t wait long to come to our table but didn’t tell us her name or welcome asked, just asked if we knew what we wanted to drink. We got our drinks and ordered our food (3 slices for him, burger for me). My burger came out first. I ordered medium rare with fries and ranch. She did not bring the ranch. She came back and slammed it on the end of the table and kept walking. A couple bites into my burger and I realized it was rare, so rare that the burger was cold and I wasn’t even to the middle, 1/2 inch from the edge was bloody and red with a small sear on top and bottom. After a few minutes two ladies came over with my husband’s pizza slices and I told the waitress about my burger and she took it back. After a bit she brought it back out and it was fine. WE waited about half an hour until we got tired of waiting to flag her down for the check. I know sometimes food isn’t always perfect and mistakes get made, but service is able to be perfected and should always be a pleasant experience. Ours was not.

Nice old pub in downtown Cumberland with lots of character. Large TVs for watching sports, good service, and great food. I loved their spicy wing sauce. Prices were very reasonable, will definitely visit again next time I’m in town.

Good pub fare. Went here to check out the pizza. It was busy as the Christmas train crowd was there in their pajamas. The food is good. The pizza has a nice flavor and the toppings were pretty generous. We also had the chicken sandwich with fries. The price is pretty reasonable with dinner for three running less than $50 with an appetizer and glass of wine.

Stopped here from out of town, based on the reviews. Would certainly come back if we’re ever in town again! For what it’s worth.. Their stromboli sizing is a lie. The bigger one I ordered for myself was roughly 2′ long. I wasn’t complaining, because it was absolutely delicious.. but I could have easily left full with just the smaller one..

1) i don’t like battered fries;
2) if I move my empty beer glass to the edge of the table… I want more. Waitress never asked me if I wanted another beer;
3) water never got refilled;
4) if I ask for extra tomatoes on a sandwich and expect .50 charge, I’m not expecting a second slice of roma tomato.

I went to the bar, a paying customer, and I don’t know who the bartender was tonight (a girl with long red hair, but not the girl’s who birthday it was today.) She was giving me a hard time as I told her I wanted to go and sit with my friends and was going to close the tab. I think she misheard me (or is racist cause I’m black) but she made a huge deal of me going over to the table and that I needed to pay, even though I was in the process of trying to. She was very condescending and told me that’s how it is always done and that I needed to close the tab before I left in fear that I would “dash out” My friends had to come up to her and intervene, and I ended up super offended and leaving after. Just a very uncomfortable environment. Which is very disappointing because I met other staff there two days before and they were extremely sweet to me. This girl that was working on Friday was just very rude and Micro agressive.

I ain’t gone hold you when I came i asked for a drink recommendation and she said would come back and never did.
Update: I flagged her down later and she said IT was due to the way I was coming at her but all I did was ask for a recommendation. (I teared up at this- I’m sensitive and she walked away)

I am ALWAYS happy with my food whether I eat in or get take out. My only complaint is they charge you a fee to order take out over the phone. I hope you give that money to the server or bartender or whoever answers the phone because I will not leave a tip when I pick up if you are already charging a fee.
