Been going here since my dad took me as a kid, the only thing is that it’s getting pricey a lot more pricey, but nowadays everything’s going up, here’s the updated menu now, I always love the food, I consider it one of Albuquerque’s hidden gems. That was back then as a five-star review this is my new review as of today I have not been able to get one Mexican burger because they don’t answer their phone or when I go outside they don’t even answer within, it’s sad because I know the elders would not accept this kind of business cuz they were really good at it, but as a long time customer they’re going downhill and it’s going to close eventually soon they’re only open 3 days a week and for only like 3 hours I think, they can’t even answer their phone no more because I haven’t even been able to get no service for over a month and I’ve been trying every weekend sucks!

Louie’s is one of the best! I’ve been eating here with my family for about 8 years. It never fails I will always continue to get my favorite the mexican hamburger!!! It comes in two homemade tortillas as buns, green chile, cheese, onions, tomato & lettuce. Also Louie’s wife and daughters still run the place so its family owned. Great food and great service!

Stopped here for the first time and ordered 2 smothered burritos to go. Got home to eat and was pretty disappointed. They don’t really put a lot of Chile on their burritos. One orders smothered and you would expect that, I think they had more bean juice than anything. They were ok but not as I expected. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Louie’s is hands down the best Tortilla Burger in ABQ! I’ve been eating “Mexi’s” since Louie’s was in a camper (the original food truck!) in Louie’s Flea Market. Been going since I was 5yrs old and been ordering the same thing ever since! Louie’s hits every time! Consistently.
