Food was phenomenal! Drinks were delicious. Buffalo mozzarella was the best ever. Pasta and cannolis were spot on. Service was excellent. A little crowded on a Sunday night about 6 pm, so it echoes a little loud in there when there’s a ton of ppl, but it was a very nice dinner. 10/10 recommend.

Cocozza has a great vibe overall. Loved the atmosphere and the drinks were really good. The pasta and food were solid and well made, perfect for a relaxed Italian meal. Had a great time here and would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in Memphis.

What an amazing little gem!! Stopped in bc the pther restaurant we went to couldn’t seatbour table of 2. Stopped in here and got to eat on the adorable patio under heat lamp and candlelight with beautiful music playing and blankets on the chairs. Service was great. Scabby’s Revenge drink was to die for and the arugla salad was amazing!! The calamari with the lemon aoli was cooked perfectly and probably the best calamari we have ever had! (And we frequently order calamari when eating out!) Can’t wait for our entres!

Good but crowded. The owners appear to have created an Italian restaurant different from others in the city, and possibly more authentic. No tea. No ranch dressing. Tables are extremely close to one another. They do offer Italian sodas.

I had the pasta with vodka cream sauce and added grilled chicken. It was excellent! Wife had the chicken Parmesan and said it was good as well.

First time dining here. I was honestly disappointed with the portion size of my lasagna. The pasta bowls around me were much larger, and my serving left me feeling unsatisfied — especially for the price. Paying $26 for such a small slice of lasagna felt unreasonable, and I was still hungry afterward.

On the bright side, the appetizers and other entrées my friends ordered were very good, so I can tell the food quality overall is high.

However, what really left a bad taste in my mouth was the service. Before visiting, I called ahead and was told the restaurant did offer a military discount. When I asked my waitress about it, she laughed in my face and said, “No, we don’t offer any discounts here.” That kind of response was both disrespectful and unnecessary.

Overall, great food but poor value and disappointing service.

In town for business and what a cozy little eatery. We didn’t have a reservation and they were booked on a Tuesday evening. There were 2 of us and we were able to find seating at the bar.
Everything on the menu looked great so it was difficult making a decision. Ended up with the tortellini and the lasagna. Both were great with very large portions.
Wine selection was great and although we didn’t have a cocktail, we could see the quality ongredients they were using to make the drinks going out.
Food came out quickly and I would definitely visit again.
Already gave a recommendation out to a local friend.

This is the first and probably only time that we will be visiting this restaurant. First, the positive aspects of the dining experience:
1. The cocktails were delicious.
2. Our server was great.
3. The atmosphere has a cool 70s Italian diner semi casual vibe.
4. Of all the pasta dishes we ordered the tortellini was pretty good
The negative aspects, hence the two star rating:
1. We made a reservation for 6:15 PM. On our way to the table the host informed us that we needed to leave by 7:30 because he was going to seat another party at our location. I have never been told this by any restaurant I have ever done at. It is unprofessional and rude.
2. The food is honestly not that great. They bruschetta is basically chopped tomatoes on toast. The calamari was underdone. The rigatoni was dry and lacked more flavor/sauce. The manicotti was also dry.
3. The food quality does not equate to the amount of money that is paid for each dish.
It is difficult to return to or even recommend this restaurant due to the inappropriate behavior of the host as well as the quality of the food.

We ordered food for my husband’s 50th birthday party this past weekend. And I had not eaten at Cocozza before – I went by the google reviews and some friends reviews who have eaten here and I am beyond impressed with their food quality! We ordered the grilled chicken tortellini, the cheese ravioli with mushrooms, the spinach manicotti and the vodka rigatoni. All of these dishes were absolutely delicious! So happy I ordered from here. I am definitely going back here again and have recommended this place to all my friends, and they will be coming too! Thank you Cocozza 🙂

I came in with a 30 top and we were served by Sara. She was INCREDIBLE!! Attentive, polite, and efficient! Nobody told the restaurant ahead of time that I have a gluten allergy, but she was so kind about it and made sure that they made some safe options for me, even made sure that they made a special salad with no croutons even without me asking!! The gluten free pasta has great texture, too.
I wish I could have personally thanked the kitchen for putting in the extra work for my food on top of a party and regular service.
All the food was delicious, the flan I had for dessert was the best I’ve ever tasted, and shoutout to the lady bartending! Those must have been the best drinks I’ve ever had! Absolutely peak bourbon old fashioned and a grapefruit margarita, both of them just sweet enough without being overpowering.
Everybody loved the food and the atmosphere, and next time I’m meeting somebody for dinner or drinks, this is definitely where I’m taking them!

Decided to try somewhere new for our Anniversary. The atmosphere was giving old school Italian which I appreciated. The food was good, not great. Service was OK. For the price point I was expecting higher quality service.
