I had the pasta with vodka cream sauce and added grilled chicken. It was excellent! Wife had the chicken Parmesan and said it was good as well.
On the bright side, the appetizers and other entrées my friends ordered were very good, so I can tell the food quality overall is high.
However, what really left a bad taste in my mouth was the service. Before visiting, I called ahead and was told the restaurant did offer a military discount. When I asked my waitress about it, she laughed in my face and said, “No, we don’t offer any discounts here.” That kind of response was both disrespectful and unnecessary.
Overall, great food but poor value and disappointing service.
Everything on the menu looked great so it was difficult making a decision. Ended up with the tortellini and the lasagna. Both were great with very large portions.
Wine selection was great and although we didn’t have a cocktail, we could see the quality ongredients they were using to make the drinks going out.
Food came out quickly and I would definitely visit again.
Already gave a recommendation out to a local friend.
1. The cocktails were delicious.
2. Our server was great.
3. The atmosphere has a cool 70s Italian diner semi casual vibe.
4. Of all the pasta dishes we ordered the tortellini was pretty good
The negative aspects, hence the two star rating:
1. We made a reservation for 6:15 PM. On our way to the table the host informed us that we needed to leave by 7:30 because he was going to seat another party at our location. I have never been told this by any restaurant I have ever done at. It is unprofessional and rude.
2. The food is honestly not that great. They bruschetta is basically chopped tomatoes on toast. The calamari was underdone. The rigatoni was dry and lacked more flavor/sauce. The manicotti was also dry.
3. The food quality does not equate to the amount of money that is paid for each dish.
It is difficult to return to or even recommend this restaurant due to the inappropriate behavior of the host as well as the quality of the food.
I wish I could have personally thanked the kitchen for putting in the extra work for my food on top of a party and regular service.
All the food was delicious, the flan I had for dessert was the best I’ve ever tasted, and shoutout to the lady bartending! Those must have been the best drinks I’ve ever had! Absolutely peak bourbon old fashioned and a grapefruit margarita, both of them just sweet enough without being overpowering.
Everybody loved the food and the atmosphere, and next time I’m meeting somebody for dinner or drinks, this is definitely where I’m taking them!
